Kenyan Man Paul Wachira Wins $1 Million in Dubai Raffle Draw, Cannot be Traced

A Kenyan man who won $1 million (about KSh100 million) in a raffle competition in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates cannot be traced.

Paul Wachira was announced as the winner of the raffle competition on Tuesday after his ticket number 2162 was drawn in the latest series of the Dubai lottery.

On Wednesday, the organizers of the Dubai duty-free raffle said Wachira had not turned up to pick his windfall.

Gulf News reported that Wachira bought his ticket online for 1000 UAE Dirham (about KSh28,000).

Attempts by the competition's organizers to reach him were unsuccessful, Gulf News reported.

Three other participants won luxury vehicles in the Dubai Duty-Free Finest Surprise promotion.
