Economist David Ndii Slams Odinga for Meeting President Uhuru’s Sister Kristina Pratt

Controversial Kenyan economist Dr. David Ndii on Wednesday slammed Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader Raila Odinga for hosting President Kenyatta’s elder sister in his Capitol Hill office.

Ndii, a former staunch supporter of Odinga, took to social media to express his disappointment with the ODM leader for meeting Ms. Kristina Pratt.

“We have truly lost this one (Odinga). What a letdown,” Ndii tweeted in reaction to Odinga’s meeting with Ms. Pratt.

Ndii was a key figure in Odinga’s campaign team for his 2017 presidential bid and served as National Super Alliance (Nasa) chief strategist.

Ms. Pratt has become the newest member of the Kenyatta family to meet Odinga as the ties between the two families continue to rekindle following the March 9th, 2018 handshake.

“I was pleased to receive Madam Kristina Pratt Kenyatta at my office this morning,” said Raila on his Facebook page on Wednesday.

In January, President Uhuru’s brother Muhoho Kenyatta accompanied Raila to the 25th-anniversary celebrations for the late Jaramogi Oginga in Kisumu.

Odinga also recently hosted President Kenyatta’s cousins Beth Mugo and Ngengi Muigai at his office, with details of these meetings remaining scanty.

Ndii, my friend, you say you have a PhD until you speak. Anytime you speak you sound like a learned fool. What do you understand by freedom of speech, freedom of association, freedom of worship etc? Do you own Raila? Do you control him? Do you determine who he sees, talks to, texts or befriends? Do you really think you can manipulate him to be what you want of him? Raila is a seasoned politician, you are not. He has seen the light, you are still marooned in political darkness. Or is it because you have been abandoned and rendered useless that you are bitter and vengeful? Kenya has moved on. You are still in 2017. My friend this is 2019. Wise up and stop behaving like a bush politician. No wonder they say PhD is the acronym of permanent head damage. Maybe yours is. Shut up and let those with sense do what they know best, build alliances.

Lets be fair to everyone, even those we don't agree with. Ndii's message was “We have truly lost this one (Odinga). What a letdown,”. Unless there was more than that in FB, the rest of this report belongs to the reporter. There is no evidence of the reporter trying to get a clarification from Ndii. He's not slamming the relationship, the statement seems like a reference of their journey to Canaan, they have lost the leadership.

Ndii should have put one and two and ask himself the difference between Uhuru and Raila when he started supporting Raila . Raila hana musimamo he has been tricked so many times by Moi by Kibaki and now he thinks with Uhuru it will be different all the same there is no difference in their mentality . Raila sorry but you will be surprised come 2020 for Kenyans cannot be fooled anymore . old dogs cannot learn new tricks we cannot expect Raila to change Kenya . we need a young president man or woman who has no baggage . Yes Ndii you were wrong and you lost Raila long ago your support was for revenge uri matu na nduiguaga because you think you are clever than anyone else see you fooled yourself
