Police Search for Nigerian Man Who Allegedly Murdered Prominent Kenyan Female Lawyer

Officers from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) are in pursuit of a Nigerian man suspected to have killed a prominent Kenyan lawyer whom he was living with.
The suspect identified as Christian Kadima Mwambay is said to have murdered the female attorney at her house in Syokimau, Machakos County before he went underground.
Mwambay was seen leaving the house on Thursday evening before the victim’s lifeless body was found in her bedroom on Friday morning by her house help.
“The house help grew suspicious when by 10 am, her employer hadn’t woken up. She then walked into her bedroom only to find her lying lifeless on the bed, with bloody bruises on her body,” the DCI said in a statement.
Anyone with information that may lead to the arrest of the foreigner has been asked to report to the DCI via its toll-free number 0800 722 203.
