Kesses MP Swarup Mishra: Why I Walk Around with 19 Mobile Phones

Kesses MP Mishra Swarup has opened up on why he carries 19 mobile phones while going about his daily business.

The first-time MP says the phones are not for showing off but each plays an important role in his work as a member of parliament and businessman.

“I have 19 phones now... Yes, I use all of them. Some are for business, some are for mwananchi, some are for my political connections, something for China, something for India, something for Zambia and Congo,” Mishra told KTN News in an interview.

He continued: “I have a phone for my mother, father, my president, my deputy president, my Raila Odinga, myself and my wife also.”

During the interview, the tycoon flaunted an iPhone that he claims is made out of pure gold and diamonds. He divulged that the iPhone is the only mobile device that he cannot switch off at any given time.

Mishra, who owns the Mediheal Group of hospitals, also talked about his gold accessories, saying they have a religious significance.

“It’s not bling bling. People think it’s jewelry but it’s not. I am a Hindu. I believe in astrology so all these stones they are for your future destiny and fortune,” he said.

Mishra, who won the Kesses MP seat on a Jubilee ticket in 2017, is seeking defending his seat as an independent candidate in the August 9th elections.

As much as it’s a choice, sounds much like mental challenge. If he doesn’t believe that one phone set will work for him, how can anyone trust him as a medical doctor? I had read it somewhere that he also has more a thousand pairs of shoes and suits! Overzealous obsession.
