Former Bungoma East MP Mark Barasa Found Murdered, Eyes Gouged Out

Police have launched an investigation into the gruesome murder of former Bungoma East MP Mark Barasa, who was found dead at his home in Tongaren on Wednesday.

The body of the deceased was partially burned with acid, with eyes, tongue, and left hand missing, according to reports.

The discovery of his mutilated body came after his family reported him missing, thinking he had lost his memory and was unable to find his way home.

Barasa, who was married to four wives and had 27 children, is credited for critical developments in the area during his tenure as an MP including the Webuye Pan Papers, Lugulu Girls, Chesamisi Boys, and Friends School Kamusinga.

The family has called for speedy investigations into his death and wants the perpetrators to be brought to book. The body was taken to Cherengany Nursing Home mortuary awaiting a postmortem examination.

Barasa, 99-year-old, was the first ever Bungoma East MP, and served between 1963 and 1969.

Last week it was a toddler, this week,it's anonsgenarian.
What evil is this that has befallen our society to the extend that we have resorted to gouging, and mutilating people in a savagery manner that befits the stone age era?
Surely some people are just humans by outward appearance but pure wild animals in their minds. And they should not live amongst the civilized human beings. It's time we revisited -an eye for an eye rule.

For whatever reason, when the gates of hell were opened this season, Lucifer and his progeny headed to Kenya.

At 99 his sight was probably gone. So the gouging of his eyes was purely to send an ominous message to someone.@ MarkOnyango, I bet you are correct to suspect that his death has alot to do with inheritance issues. Is it not in the same "neighborhood" the famous soccer cheerleader was hacked over land issue?

How come IPOA officials or human group thugs have not even sent condolences to families of Barasa or two men killed by Al Sabaab in Lamu? There was a time I challenged these supporters of gangsters to train their violent/savage friends how to ROB WITHOUT VIOLENCE or TRAIN POLICE HOW TO ARREST ARMED READY TO KILL RAILAS.The DPP should license five more people to TAKE CARE of current licensed murderers and violent robbers.TWO WEEKS ARE ENOUGH Mr.Noordin.
