I Haven’t Suffered Mild Stroke, Turkana Governor Nanok Says Amid Reports of His Hospitalization

Turkana Governor Josphat Nanok has dismissed reports claiming that he has been hospitalized. This comes after The Star and a section of local media reported that Governor Nanok had been admitted at Nairobi Hospital after suffering a mild stroke.

In a tweet on Tuesday evening, Nanok termed the reports as misinformation, pointing out that he was well and at home.

“I am well and in my residence now. Neither do I have a mild stroke & nobody should wish this on me or anyone. Ignore media misinformation,” Nanok said in a tweet.

The Council of Governors (COG) also rubbished the reports about Nanok’s hospitalization as fake news.

“Let us ignore the FAKE NEWS about His Excellency Governor Josphat Nanok. Heis well and is currently at his home having dinner with his family,” CoG tweeted.
