Clergymen Defend DP William Ruto's Church Donations, Say the Money is Sanctified

Clergymen Defend DP William Ruto's Church Donations, Say the Money is Sanctified

A section of clergymen from the North Rift region has jumped to the defense of Deputy President William Ruto over his cash donations to churches.

Led by Bishop Simon Kemei, the men of the cloth said DP Ruto should ignore critics and continue supporting churches, adding that the money is sanctified once it is given to the church.

“As clergy, we are very happy with what the DP is doing for churches because we believe he has been touched by the hand of God to see the need of the church and use the resources available to him so he can intervene and help,” Kemei said.

The bishops further appealed to DP Ruto to support more churches from North Rift—his political backyard.

“If the DP will come to my church, I will be very happy and receive him wholeheartedly. As a leader of the congregation, I know we do not have musical instruments, we don’t have seats and we have many other needs that we know the DP can aid us in filling,” Kemei added.

His sentiments were echoed by bishop John Korir and Pastor Joseph Too, who rebuked those judging Ruto for donating to needy people.

Earlier this year, Ruto told off a section of ODM leaders who planned to enact a law to abolish church donations, saying they will face God’s wrath.

“They want to stop God's word. You will face God's wrath and you will suffer in this world. You are going to legislate on how to sabotage the word of God and the spread of the good news of Jesus Christ? Don't say I didn't warn you. I have given you the news early. Take care! There are many bills that we want you to pass in Parliament instead of derailing God's word," said Ruto.

The clergy have been corrupted by politics for a long time in Kenya! Ruto is a de riot I’ve character that has a satanic tongue to mislead those of the pulpit.

The preachers have learned to adore material things and swill sell their souls for earthly treasures! Ruto is now buying them to get some votes! The clergy cares less about Ruto taking the country to the dogs. They were b hind Euto in 2007 and will not be ashamed to sell the country short in 2022.

Unfortunately no one can trust a moral voice coming from the clergy; they have been bought using the rupees that Jesus himself fought against in the church!

The human nature has taken over spirituality; and no one knows that better than the most corrupt man (ruto) in the entire world!!

  2. SeroneySep 17, 2020

The clergy have joined Ruto in looting our coffers. They now claim to have scarified stolen money! Even mute Shi’a land was well sanctified when Ruto forcefully stole it!

The men of cloth are seriously corrupted and will stop at nothing to get a share of zRuto’s stolen wealth!

  3. KipragatSep 17, 2020

Kenyans need to speak out over the corruption in the clergy ranks! We can’t have thieves running the house of God! The devil has taken hawa nyara na Mungu atawalania!

  4. KipragatSep 17, 2020

Is there any blessings for Ruto in all this clergy mess? I think not!!

  5. GUEST1Sep 17, 2020

The BIBLE says Gifts, Bribery, and Corruption blinds the wisdom of Man. The Wisdom of lots of pastors, Leaders, and Humanity has been BLINDED by money like Ruto's. Daniel Moi's and Fredrick Chiluba's Wisdoms were BLINDED by Corrupt money.

  6. KamandeSep 17, 2020

Money is the root course of all evil. The clergy have forgotten this verse is in the Bible? I think Judas did a better job. At least he returned the money he had corruptly received. Maybe he forgot to sanctify it. Unfortunately, it bought a cemetery to bury more bodies like his. Clergy persons, where is your shame...?

  7. LesterSep 18, 2020

Most clergy never reads the Bible for Godly wisdom! They read the Ruto scripts to stolen earthly riches.

The Clergy has lost the moral authority and the clergy is freely willing to corruptly share the loot! Their new theology is simply money, money and more money!!!

It seems quite obvious that, the "god' that these church leaders and Ruto believe in is a crook and a con-man. This is a "man-made god."

Your president,Jambazi Muigai is also the THIEF IN CHIEF in Kenya. He must sign for all money released by the Treasury.Authorisation demand was confirmed in Pattine Commission and recently by DPP,Haji.Jambazi Ruto takes his loot share like others including Raila.A good example is COVID GATE looting currently going and presided over by jambazi Uhuru assisted by PRIME MURDERER Raila.

I think that's why we need regional governments so that we can confine such behavior at the source. Mt. Kenya doesn't need these nonsense.

  12. LesterSep 18, 2020

You already have regional county government which are made of more thieves! You are all taking Kenya to hell in a huge busker! Now the clergy have earnestly joined the gravel train and they have sanctified theft of people’s resource as a moral way of life!

  13. SoldieronSep 17, 2020

As Imara poignantly points out, Ruto's god is a Jambazi who only sanctifies stolen wealth. If we keep feeding that god, soon enough it will consume us. Such a god is just man making a god for his own selfish goals.

  14. MutaiSep 18, 2020

Ruto has created a bad cult of corruption in Kenya! He has now pulled the clergy in his band of brotherly thieves. And you wonder why more and more Kenyans are no longer going to church!

  15. ShakaSep 17, 2020

What happened to preachers, Bishops, Fathers being fishers of men. Did Jesus not tell them to go spread the word. Now u got them involved in politics, praying for crook politicians n defending their donations. Once again Mwakilishi nation i got to keep it real. Kenyans have let this fucked up preachers control their lives n whatever damn thing they do or say u say Amen. From buying pipe water, not even from the Red Sea, to giving all ur money for prayers n blessings, no wonder this politicians r using the Churches as long as u show them money, their flock will be singing ur name.Ruto is wise to always buy the Church as it comes with followers. People be woke as this Churches u go singing Jesus is Alive as soon as service is over the preacher will be singing what a mighty God when counting the wealth u idiots laid on him. The Church n politics is a very dangerous thing n guess what people even Waiguru goes to Church to thank God for i guess NYS. To finish to all the born again people that wanna come after me, fuck u n Satan who is cooking eggs in my kitchen says hello n he'll see u all soon.

  16. MutaiSep 18, 2020

The clergy have found a new “Jesus” in Ruto! He is teaching them how to steal! It is no longer the work of the Lord. It is now Ruto’s work! Ruto is taking Jenya to hell!

  17. GuestSep 18, 2020

There would be no problem if the money was honestly earned.Sanctified my foot .Money laundering is what he is doing but taking stolen money to the church so as to appear pious is no longer working .People have seen the real you a thief and most probably a murderer.Even the voters have wisened up take the money but vote for whomever you want.Ruto’s chances of ascending to the presidency appear quite slim

  18. KiprotichSep 18, 2020

There is a huge clash of evil culture of theft and that if morality voices. The good Lord must intervene through other means! God will not use the clergy as a moral voice to speak fir what is morally right. The clergy have traded Jesus ministry with a Demi god who is now teaching them how to con worshippers! It is Sodom and Gomora jointing hands to loot Kenya under the leadership of the ruto, the devil worshipper!

  20. MūgīkūyūSep 18, 2020

@Chemonges Kingo Joel. Sasa wewe are you the hand that gives or the hand that takes?
With your screaming language here, you sound like the one who takes.
