Kalonzo: Ruto Rigged 2013 and 2017 Elections Without Uhuru’s Knowledge
Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka has slammed Deputy President William Ruto over the just-concluded United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party primaries.
Musyoka accused Ruto of presiding over shambolic and unfair nominations, claiming the exercise was marred by massive irregularities.
He claimed that the irregularities were part of the tactics the deputy president employed to rig the 2013 and 2017 presidential elections in favor of Jubilee.
Musyoka said Ruto used what he termed as dubious means to influence the outcome of the aforementioned elections without the knowledge of President Kenyatta.
He warned the deputy president against using the same tactics to rig the upcoming elections, saying members of the Azimio-One Kenya coalition party are on high alert to thwart such attempts.
"During the 2013 and 2017 elections, Ruto stole our votes. We had won the elections with Raila. I have come to realize that it is Ruto who was rigging elections and not Uhuru,” Musyoka claimed.
"It is now clear and you have seen the menace manifest in the UDA party primaries even here in Kajiado.”
The Wiper party leader further noted that Ruto, who is eyeing the presidency under the UDA party, has not only been engaging in elections malpractices but also looting public coffers.
Musyoka urged the Maasai community to rally behind the Raila Odinga-led coalition, saying it has the best interest of Kenyans at large.
He was speaking on Saturday at Maili Tisa in Kajiado Central, where he attended the endorsement of Wiper Party parliamentary candidate Moses Birisha.

Election rigging is done by IEBC, other utterances is just a ploy to protect the true suspects. If the elections were rigged, no need to beat the bush, point straight to the responsible organization. And for 10 years, shame on us for doing nothing to fix the ill. Even after 2017 Supreme Court ruled that the votes were not verifiable, we did nothing to make votes verifiable.

Elections in Kenya are conducted solely by IEBC. If there’s any allegations of rigging, this commission is responsible.
Kalonzo is about to tell us that Uhuru didn’t know that he was running for president. He just found himself there perhaps courtesy of Ruto. In other words he has been an illegal president all these two terms.
The other day Uhuru was spreading another lie that Ruto stole the dam money. Accordingly, Ruto hold’s supervisory role as DP. The office doesn’t cut checks nor do contractors bidding. Yet the president just like Kalonzo, tried to issue false information that fell flat.

Jesse, what does not make sense is a pipe dream that Ruto is waiting for an ICC case. Ruto has no case in ICC. Baba is indeed the number if you did know. 2007 election protests that saw many people killed. Lately we have bodies floating off a river in Nzanza which appears to be sacrificial in nature or being used for uchawi purposes.
