Kibicho Ready to Make Public Intelligence Reports Forecasting a 60% Win for Raila

Interior Principal Secretary Dr. Karanja Kibicho has defended his claim that Azimio La Umoja-One Kenya coalition party presidential flagbearer Raila Odinga will win the August 9th elections by 60 percent.

Kibicho insists that intelligence reports in his possession indicate that Odinga, 77, will trounce his rival Deputy President William Ruto in the found round, adding that he is ready to provide proof if need be. He clarified that he receives legitimate intelligence reports from various sources and not necessarily the National Intelligence Service (NIS).

“I have many sources where I get information, not only from the NIS. I have so much confidential information and if asked to give it out for the sake of the public well-being, I’m in a position to do so. Therefore, the information we give is grounded on the truth and not for the sake of impressing,” Kibicho said while speaking in Kirinyaga.

The principal secretary slammed Ruto and his United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party for writing to the NIS demanding information on the alleged intelligence reports putting Odinga ahead in the upcoming presidential contest.

Kibicho also described Ruto as a master of double speak by peddling his own data on the 2022 elections yet condemning others who also present the same. He was referring to Ruto’s sentiments that intelligence reports show he was leading by 8 percent instead.

"We usually say that when you point at someone, three fingers point at you. Let him ask himself which report he was using to state that he was ahead by 8 percent. Which right does he have that we don't? People need to be ashamed. Do not put a moral bar which you cannot even get to," Kibicho added.

Umm, Kibicho, can't you just shut up and let people go through campaigns and then vote and then let them count the votes?

There's nothing here pointing to Kibicho's willingness to release the report. This is good indication of media being corrupted to paint a desired public view. NIS funding is to protect the country, not to predict elections.

You need to conduct a region by region analysis and show how you arrive at 60%. Throwing an arbitrary number out there will not do it.

Kibinjo and media should be required by law not to make such irresponsible statements until the election results are out.
Mr. Kibinjo, we know how much you want your candidate Raila Odinga to win.
We know he has tried 4 times and failed. We know he is desperate this time and all others who are waiting and counting on Raila to save their day.
We also know Ruto wants to win with all others on his side.
We are just a few weeks, keep quiet and wait patiently for the outcome.
There are many factors in place, including what time it is.
Let you and the media slow down on your predictions. They are not helpful. Infact your predictions are just a nuisance distraction.
May the best candidate win!!
