Anne Waiguru Set to Clinch Kirinyaga Governor Seat

Former Devolution Cabinet Secretary Anne Mumbi Waiguru of Jubilee party appears to have clinched Kirinyaga gubernatorial seat going by provisional results by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC).

Waiguru has so far marshaled 157,608 votes (54.15 percent) in 642 out of 659 polling stations so far tallied.

Narc Kenya's Martha Wangari Karua is second after garnering 118,420 votes (40.71 percent), with Bedan Muriithi coming third with 9,542 votes (3.28 percent). Incumbent governor Joseph Ndathi, an independent candidate is fourth after getting 4,582 votes (1.58 percent).

Yes just because one devo tried to spoils somebody's name doesn't mean the pple will b rejected.Waiguru kograts may u continue serving the kirinyaga pple the way u did good job at devolution.Let the haters continue to wipe pples asses in diaspora n working tripple.Please kirinyaga themselves will blame themselves after 5yrs if they made the right choice

For the IEBC to clear Mumbi Waiguru, Sonko, and many more others to run for an elective public office, it totally de-legitimatizes the entire election process.
