Deputy President William Ruto Reveals Why He Blocked Miguna Miguna on Twitter

Deputy President William Ruto has opened up on why he blocked Nairobi County gubernatorial aspirant in the August 8th election Miguna Miguna on Twitter last week.

Speaking during a Sunday interview on K24 and KBC, the Deputy President said that he blocked the former Canada-based lawyer on Twitter because could not allow Miguna terrorize him.

"I don’t allow negative people to terrorize me. If you are going to make it your business to say negative things about me and my family, I will block you," the Deputy President noted.

The Jubilee Party deputy leader noted that the Former Raila Odinga's advisor's constant and unwarranted attacks on his family irked him and that he crossed the line.

"And you cannot distinguish between Ruto the politician and Ruto the family man consistently crossing the line by attacking my family and that is unacceptable," he maintained.

Last week, the tough talking politician unveiled a scathing attack on the Deputy President describing him as 'a private citizen who sucks billions from my taxes.'

This was after Ruto blocked the outspoken lawyer on Twitter leading to a rant on the social platform.

DP Ruto maintained that Jubilee legally and fairly won the August 8th elections and recount of the ballots would prove the same.

"We are confident that we won fair and square, we are eager to demonstrate this through a vote recount," he conveyed.

He reassured that Jubilee is ready for the repeat presidential election scheduled for October 26th and exuded confidence that President Uhuru will emerge victorious once more.

Ndugu Ruto. You know very well that had the IEBC done its work properly, they would not have cleared you to run for any public office anywhere in the Republic of Kenya! That why we need to reform the IEBC and retire all the current employees who bungled the August 8th election.

As a matter of principle they (IEBC) should have vacated their offices by now. How can you let the chief pilot (Wafula Chebukati) who flew a brandy new aircraft and became the sole survivor after crashing the plane, fly another new aircraft?

This guy cannot take public criticism. His way of dealing with it is making people disappear example Jacob Juma the same way Ouko disappeared when his distant uncle Biwott saw him as a threat. It is imperative that such a dangerous man not ascend to power .Kanu dictatorship should not be brought back through the backdoor.

It's very strange that in an election year no one speaks about the issues which affects the people in the Republic of Kenya nor does the people of Kenya cares to hear about the solutions, from both parties, which will affect their lives greatly if they are elected.
The biggest issues are based on demeaning the opposite parties personas instead of the issues which will affect their lives. That is very strange. I would be thinking which party will change my living conditions,or to improve my children lives for the next four or years they will be in office.
