Babu Owino's Supporters Harrass Nairobi Women Rep. Esther Passaris at the Milimani Courts

Nairobi Woman Representative Esther Passaris had a rough day at the Milimani Law Courts on Wednesday after supporters of Embakasi East MP Paul Ongili, alias Babu Owino harassed her and branded her a 'traitor'.

The rowdy youth branded the Women as a ‘traitor ‘ after she took to social media to condemn Babu Owino's Sunday reckless remarks directed to President Uhuru Kenyatta at a National Super Alliance (NASA) rally in Kawangware.

Passaris arrived at the court to hear a ruling on whether Babu Owino will be released on bail following his arrest on Monday evening.

It took the intervention of her bodyguards to shield her as the group of youth hurled insults at her demanding she apologize and pull down the post on Facebook.

Things almost got out of hand after lights in the court temporarily went off and the rowdy group demanded she bring back the lights, referring to her slogan of Mama Taa mtaani – as condition to be allowed to stay in the courtroom.

It took the intervention of Babu's lawyer, who is also Rarieda MP, Otiende Amollo to cool down the youth in court.

Couldnt the judge command order in his or her court? It seems to me that these youths are in contempt of the court.

Some decorum please. This young man isn't above the law! All Kenyans should be treated alike. Kuria included. We need to be human.
As for political differences, it everywhere including here in America. Republican & democrat, are in sharp disagreement yet when people go to work, they use some decorum. At work people are just human being.
Let's love to appreciate each other amidst share difference of opinions.
