Kalonzo Rejects Calls to Take Opposition Leader's Position from Raila

Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka has rejected calls by a section of National Super Alliance (Nasa) leaders, urging him to take over the Opposition leader's position from Raila Odinga.
Speaking during a church service in Athi River, Machakos County on Sunday, leaders led by Bungoma Senator Moses Wetang'ula urged Kalonzo to oust Odinga from the position, arguing that the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) chief has been ‘compromised’ by the handshake with President Kenyatta.
“When the noisiest dog is silent, then it must be chewing the biggest bone. Our Army General was not killed on the war but fell on the way, we must soldier on,” said Ford-Kenya Party leader Moses Wetangula.
Lugari Member of Parliament Ayub Savula said there was need for Kalonzo to assume the office of the opposition leader immediately and help keep Jubilee government in check.
“Raila cannot check the Government he is dining with, Kalonzo should assume that position backed by Musalia and Wetangula,” said Savula.
However, Kalonzo brushed off the calls, urging for patience even as Odinga and President Kenyatta continue to implement their unity pact.
“The unity of Raila and Uhuru does not mean that opposition is dead, I see no problem with taking over as opposition leader but we need to be patient first,” said Kalonzo.
“What Kenya wants is electoral justice, unless we fight tribalism, Kenya will not be the same again,” he added.
Amani National Congress (ANC) leader Musalia Mudavadi rubbished the 14-member unity team formed by Kenyatta and Odinga, saying it is not all-inclusive.
“Our position remains that we want a genuine national dialogue which will end electoral injustice in this country,” said Mudavadi.
Other leaders present included; Makueni Governor Kivutha Kibwana, former Machakos Senator Johnson Muthama, Matungulu MP Stephen Mutinda, Mavoko MP Patrick Makau and Makueni County Woman Representative Rose Museo.

Kalonzo goes with the wind. He has no stand of his own. Where everyone sees no opposition, Kalonzo sees one. If Raila says there is opposition, Kalonzo will see one. Everything about this guy should be ignored. He will just mimic what Raila says.

Barking Chihuahuas gone nuts after seeing a scarecrow. Annoying like flies on a great sunny day. Empty heads standing in a sea of problems but can't pick one problem to solve. For once I commend Raila for having dumped them and gone for the handshake which just might fight corruption. Collectively, they are space takers in politics and development. They have nothing to offer the masses.

Melon cannot be opposition leader because his work is to copy from somebody else. He has no originality. The only line he did not copy from somebody else is only when he said Kenya will burn like Somalia or South Sudan and faking his house raid the night Raila was sworn in.
