16-Year-Old Girl Completes Final High School Exam, Returns Home to Learn Entire Family was Wiped Out 22 Days Ago

The Tanzanian government has pledged to support a 16-year-old girl whose entire family of five was wiped out by flash floods last month.

Anna Zambi’s parents and siblings were on their way to visit her in school for prayer day ahead of her final secondary school examinations when they met their death.

They all perished after their car was swept away by floods in Handeni District, Tanga Region, Tanzania on October 26th as they traveled from Dar es Salaam to Zambi’s school in Kilimanjaro.

So tragic was the accident that the family members chose not to tell Zambi about it until she completes the examinations. They wanted her to finish her exams in peace, according to The Citizen of Tanzania.

On Monday, almost a month after the incident, she traveled back home to be with her family after finishing the exams only to learn that her parents and siblings were no more.

She was shown the graves of her parents: Lingiston Zambi, Winifrida Lymo, and three siblings: Lulu, Grace, and Andrew.

Tanzania’s Ministry of Health, Community, Gender, Elderly and Children on Monday said it would pay for Anna’s psychological rehabilitation and education.

Your God created male and female in his image. What image is that? Please educate yourself abit. The Notion that God could be referred to as HE/She is not new. Goes back centuries. In fact some churches use both HE/SHE.
More importantly, Iam concerned here about the power of God to stop human suffering. Not whether God is He or She...
The loving, the poweful God lets evil destroy man WHY?That's my question.

@Maxiley... yours is a very valid question that many people usually wonder about not just you. The answer is yes... the God of Jacob, David & Jesus has the power to stop all evil and he has promised to do that soon. In the meantime... people suffer not because of him but because his arch enemy the devil is in charge as 2Corinthians 4:4 shows. Soon the devil and all obedient to him will be done away with as shown in Psalms 37:9-11 and there will be no more suffering for those obedient to God as shown in Revelation 21:3-5. About God's gender... many times his son Jesus who knows him better than anybody referred to him as Father. He also said the testimony of 2 men is true in reference to himself and his father (Matthew 6:9;John 20:17;John 8:17,18). Hope that helps

Iam sure you have read the following verses. And some followers believe that, this makes them believe that God is female.Or probably Male, and Female. Like I said, Iam not concerned about the gender of God.You answered well the part that I was interested in...

Genesis 1:27 Women and Men created in God’s image

“Humankind was created as God’s reflection: in the divine image God created them; female and male, God made them.”

Hosea 11:3-4 God described as a mother

God: “Yet it was I who taught Ephraim to walk, I who took them up in my arms; but they did not know that I healed them. I led them with cords of human kindness, with bands of love. I was to them like those who lift infants to their cheeks. I bent down to them and fed them.”

Hosea 13:8 God described as a mother bear

“Like a bear robbed of her cubs, I will attack them and tear them asunder…”

Deuteronomy 32:11-12 God described as a mother eagle

“Like the eagle that stirs up its nest, and hovers over its young, God spreads wings to catch you, and carries you on pinions.”

Deuteronomy 32:18 God who gives birth

“You were unmindful of the Rock that bore you; you forgot the God who gave you birth.”

Isaiah 66:13 God as a comforting mother

God: “As a mother comforts her child, so I will comfort you; you shall be comforted in Jerusalem.”

Isaiah 49:15 God compared to a nursing mother

God: “Can a woman forget her nursing child, or show no compassion for the child of her womb? Even these may forget, yet I will not forget you.”

Isaiah 42:14 God as a woman in labor

God: “For a long time I have held my peace, I have kept myself still and restrained myself; now I will cry out like a woman in labor, I will gasp and pant.”

Psalm 131:2 God as a Mother

“But I have calmed and quieted my soul, like a weaned child with its mother; my soul is like the weaned child that is with me.”

Psalm 123:2-3 God compared to a woman

“As the eyes of a servant looks to the hand of their master, as the eyes of a maid to the hand of her mistress, so our eyes look to you, YHWH, until you show us your mercy!”

Matthew 23:37 and Luke 13:34 God as a Mother Hen

Jesus: “Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the city that kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to it! How often have I desired to gather your children together as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, and you were not willing!”

Luke 15:8-10 God as woman looking for her lost coin

Jesus: “Or what woman having ten silver coins, is she loses one of them, does not light a lamp, sweep the house, and search carefully until she finds it? When she has found it, she calls together her friends and neighbors saying, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found the coin that I had lost.’ Just so, I tell you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”

Can you tell me why God lets humans suffer they way this innocent lady has suffered? Iam sure you dont have an answer,or do you?
If he has the power and he does not do anything to stop human suffering, why should I not conclude that this loving God indeed enjoys to see human suffer.Another conclusion Iwould entertain is that this God does not get involved inhuman affairs....I know you dont have the power, but if you had would you stop this human suffering, especially of the innocent?
Iam sure.Iam not alone in wondering about these things.

Oh my God, how lonely it is to know you have no parent or siblings.
I'm willing to adapt her if she is willing and the TZ country accepts. I'm from Kenya.
