I’m Happy and Proud to be in Polygamous Marriage, Nairobi Woman Rep. Esther Passaris Says

Nairobi Woman Representative Esther Passaris says she is proud and happy to be in a polygamous marriage.
Passaris, 55, said this during a candid interview with Citizen TV on Friday night, where she opened up on a range of issues including her personal and political life. She explained that it was never her plan to be in a polygamous setup but she found herself in one and has accepted it.
"Somebody once said to me that your life is like a book, and every chapter is who you are. So you have to own it. I can't be embarrassed or ashamed of who I am and what I have experienced,” said Passaris.
“I think they are all learning curves and God puts us through certain experiences so that we can find him. So that we can understand who we are as human beings.”
“So if I am ashamed of who I am, I mean there was a time that I battled about being in a polygamous marriage. I didn't plan for it, I ended up in it.”
Passaris is married to billionaire businessman Pius Ngugi and the couple has two children- Makenna Maria (24) and Lefteris Pierce (20).
“I have two beautiful children. Those are a blessing to me. My husband and I have had our troubles but we are good friends, we love each other and that's what is important.”
“And we've raised two beautiful children even though you know when you are in a polygamous marriage; the father doesn't have enough time..." Passaris quipped.

She’s polygamous herself.
Let her not act like she is faithful to her polygamous husband.
Polygamous women are very forgiving. Let their actions not be confused with those of prostitutes.

One would be very scared to be in a polygamous marriage in this day in age where HIV/AIDs is ravaging Kenyans at high rate. It is killing many regardless of how deep the pockets are! I surely would be deeply concerned if I knew I have a touchy, touchy, feely, feely partner cohabiting with me. “Johnny” would just go on remission for good!!

The last census indicated that Kenya has over 1 million more women than there are men! In addition, women are flocking from all the world looking for men in Kenya.
It is all good for Pasaris to be accommodative to those other sisters who may want to have a man in their life regardless of who else arrived in that man’s life first!
However, men engaging in polygamous marriage is not justification for men to be carnival dogs! You owe it to treating women with tender love ❤️ and equal acts of kindness!
Not sure how a man can live in sane way while in a polygamous marriage regardless of how much money he may have. One woman is just a bufflehead of activities to keep a normal man centered!

would you rather be in a polygamous marriage and know the other woman and evreything is in the limelight or would you rather come to find out your husband has "mpango wa kando" with secret children which is quite not a new thing with most men??
Our forefathers were in polygamous marriage and i think things worked ok until polygamy was wiped out but in real sense "mpango wa kando " was borne.
Hence is polygamy evil??or mpango wa kando is evil

@ Fanta, non of them is evil.I have to assume by "evil" you mean bad.
Well, the answer is very simple actually. If you have to hide what you are doing, then its"evil".If your actions are going to hurt those you purport to love for your selfish reasons, then its 'evil". If it breaks the law, its"evil". If it can bring shame"its Evil"
Every one have to decide for themselves, after responding to the aformentioned questions.

@kibiwen - you seem to be a gossiper or a partaker in Parsaris secret life! See: Are you a ukimwi carrier and a gold digger yourself? Are you confessing you are HIV positive because you slept with her and now you know your medical status!? Yours above simply reflects your hate for women in general!? Do you have any heart for your own mother?

U should be ashamed of yourself, it is this idiocies policies that you are rationalizing for your low self-esteem...... if u cant support yourself say so, but don say u happy..... others too feel the same way because y'all putting that man on the pedestal, what if he goes and get involved with a HIV positive woman and comes to you. This vicious cycle of accepting behavior in the society it is not acceptable..... I know your mama raise you better and most importantly, live a life for your daughters or sons if you have any..... it is psychologically draining to them..... anyways, u already got that "digling" down your throat and u already feel good, it is your life and I have no say about it, KUDOS!

Pick up your low self esteem off the floor and live for your own with pride and thankful......
U giving this man all the right to do anything to u, bring HIV/gonorrhea/chlamydia/syphillis.... and of course there are treatments if that is what u think!
Anyways, live a life of dignity and respectable......
That d**k has no power over you or what u hold and if he threats, prove him, he got nothing on u, but God.
It is these ideas that spoil our youths ideas and think it is acceptable to do such a thing!
You sound pathetic....
