Jubilee Party to Unveil New Logo, Colors and Slogan as it Rebrands Ahead of 2022 Elections

The Jubilee Party plans to change its colors, logo and slogan ahead of the 2022 general elections.

The ruling party has submitted the new logo to the Kenya Industrial Property Institute (KIPI) for trademarking and registration.

In what marks the cut of ties with Deputy President William Ruto, the party has removed the yellow and black colors associated with the defunct United Republican Party (URP).

Jubilee was formed in 2016 after Ruto-led URP merged with President Kenyatta’s previous political outfit The National Alliance (TNA).

Jubilee’s new logo incorporates red and white colors in its design while the handshake on the former crest has been replaced by the image of a dove carrying an olive branch in its beak.

The President Kenyatta-led party has also changed its slogan from ‘Tuko Pamoja’ to ‘Mbele Pamoja.’

Jubilee Deputy Secretary-General Joshua Kuttuny says the rebranding will mark a new era in the governing party.

“You will see a new Jubilee, a new face because we are starting afresh. You know, it represents a new beginning because remember some of our friends had to leave. So, the party has to remain for the owners,” said Kuttuny.

Kuttuny, who is also the MP for Cherangany, also took a dig at Ruto and his allies, saying the colors they are discarding represent “the characters we don’t want to be associated with.”

“And besides, anyway, you will see that they have run away with some of the colors. So, clearly, we are starting afresh with another slogan, colors, and the rest. We will retain a few, but you will see something completely different,” he added.

Change and use all the rainbow 🌈 colors as you may wish but that's just for beautification. Too much talk without actions is all useless. This is what I would like to see the new government Doing- Reducing political posts and stop paying them more than a senator or a governor in the USA. Changing people's lives by eradicating poverty, creating jobs for the youth, free insurance cover and afondable health care for those who can pay, equipping our hospitals and schools, social security benefits for all who have reached retirement or are disabled. Yes we want multi party but do we really need every Tom Dick & Harry forming their own political party cap them to Two or Four if they must be many.

Total BS, who will be the flag bearer?
Why not have UHURUS son run it?
Isn't MOIS SON RUNNING KANU?
OR MAYBE GIVE IT TO JIMMY KIBAKI,
This seems like the norm.
