We Won't Take Blame for Handshake Regime Budget, Says Gachagua

Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has said that Ruto's government will not take the blame for the negative ripple effect of the former administration's budget.
He stated that the funds they have been using until the 2023-24 budget announcement on Thursday had not been planned by the Kenya Kwanza government. Gachagua criticised those who have spoken out against the Sh 3.68 trillion budget, saying they are unaware of the facts. The DP has repeatedly castigated former President Uhuru Kenyatta's government, lamenting that the new government was presented with a damaged economy.
"Since we came to office on September 13, 2022, the budget that we were utilising was not ours and hence we take no responsibility for his shortcomings or otherwise that budget belongs to the handshake regime," Gachagua said.
During their inauguration on September 13, 2022, at Kasarani Stadium, Gachagua asserted that they had to start from nothing as the coffers were empty. However, reports revealed that the State House had spent an average of Sh8.3 million daily on hospitality in the initial half-year of President William Ruto's tenure. The Controller of Budget, Margaret Nyakang’o, reported that the Office of the President had spent more than Sh1.526 billion in the first nine months of Ruto's rule. In comparison, the State House had spent Sh27 million on hospitality when former President Uhuru Kenyatta transferred power in September.
The National Treasury Cabinet Secretary Njunguna Ndungu on Thursday read Ruto's initial budget since taking office. The budget stood at Sh3.68 trillion compared to Uhuru's last budget in office which was Sh3.31 trillion. As soon as the budget was presented, Azimio MPs opposed it, claiming that it would be too heavy a burden on Kenyans and they had not given their approval. The budget also contains a raft of new tax measures aimed at levitating the tax base.

Here is my observed opinion of Ruto’s plans.
Fundraising for next elections by A+ grade student of Moi’s school of Siasa ya kuona mbali kama giraffe. 1. Kenyans are mandated to pay govt 100 bob as employment fee. So if you’re employed, your boss has to cut 100 from your every paycheck. 2. The hustler loans. They’ll come after you if you don’t pay back. 3. House levy, NHIF, NSSF increases and many others to come.
Note: No idea how he had sooo much money to pay churches & corrupt government officials, but I think he owes some peoples a lot.
Game plan.
1. Increase CS positions and up their salaries.
2. Forgive all the goons who stole billions of taxpayer’s monies and hire them back for a repeat of the same as payback for forgiveness for next elections funding.
3. Eliminate real or imagined threats to his plans. Begs the question, why has Raila gone quiet.
4. Sabotage opposition & control them to barely making noise level.
5. Last but not least after success with the above, then tawala Kenya milele like Moi using Kagame’s style.
