Kenya Ranked Among Top Destinations Worldwide by UK Citizens

Kenya has recently been voted up to the seventh spot among other popular vacation spots by British Citizens, according to the Telegraph Travel Awards.

In the past, its position on the list has been variable, dropping from ninth in 2014 to 22 in 2019. The sharp decrease was mainly caused by terrorist attacks that took place in Nairobi between 2013 and 2019 which scared away potential travellers. In 2023, however, the country managed to regain its well-deserved place, surpassing countries such as South Africa and Botswana.

The survey results may be beneficial to Kenya's tourism industry.  The Telegraph employs various criteria when determining the rankings. Kenya's Maasai Mara was exalted as one of the world's finest destinations. Its abundance of wildlife and warm hospitality allowed it to secure a spot as one of the finest travel destinations in the world. According to the survey, British citizens show a keen interest in wildlife-based holidays, with the wildebeest migration from southern Serengeti to the Maasai Mara garnering considerable attention.

Additionally, Kenya's Indian Ocean coastline also helped to improve its ranking. Beaches with fine sand and tranquil, top-notch resorts have become a major draw for British vacationers. The direct flights from London to Nairobi have made it easier for people from the UK to visit Kenya.

The Telegraph Travel Awards recently released a report that offers a glimpse into the favourite holiday spots of the British public. The survey is done each year, giving citizens of the UK the chance to vote for their most beloved holiday destinations across the globe. The results are based on numerous categories, from airlines and cruise operators to hotel chains and ski companies.

These folks need to remain in Europe since it’s very hard for Africans to go there and they come and leave Africa as they please.

They have animals in their homeland too. See those animals.

This must be fake news. How can people who are issuing safety warnings against visiting Kenya at the same time vote it as a great destination? It doesn't make sense, unless political riots are now the new tourist attraction.
