Azimio Demos: Coalition to Give Way Forward on Sunday

The Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance Coalition announced on Friday, July 28, that they will on Sunday provide guidance on the upcoming anti-government protests.

During a requiem mass at the SKM centre, Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka urged Kenyans to remain strong and resolute. Shortly before his address, the Court of Appeal lifted the orders that suspended the implementation of the contentious Finance Act 2023. Kalonzo acknowledged that the heavy taxes would be a burden on Kenyans but urged them not to give up. He expressed regret for the lives lost during the protests, saying they were asking for basic needs.

Kalonzo promised to fight for justice for the families of the deceased and those who were injured in previous demonstrations. He challenged Kenyans to ask themselves important questions in their pursuit of justice. According to the Wiper leader, suspending a section of the 2010 Constitution is equivalent to discontinuing the entire document.

"The events of these past days need to make us reflect on the present and the future on the way we want to run this country and the way we want to be governed and not ruled. We need to reflect on our values as a nation and ask ourselves whether our actions reflect our values," Kalonzo said.

He suggested that it is necessary to ensure that the Constitution's provisions offer the protection they were intended to provide. In these trying times, he urged the nation to remain level-headed and examine the situation objectively.  Meanwhile, Lawyer Miguna Miguna believes that the Azimio coalition should unveil alternative development programs and policies in counties. According to Miguna, the move will demonstrate that they have a better vision for Kenyans and this will in turn lend weight to their drive for a lower cost of living.

I recall back when Kalonzo was a minister in Moi government, he flashed a Nation newspaper that castigated Moi's rule and called the paper a disgrace ..fast forward Kalonzo in a press conference asked Mureithi of Nation his name and responded " your name betrays you"..Kalonzo is planning to benefit from RAO's age come 2027 but none will come to fruition. He of "katikati" ni kama kupe( cow ticks)

Rais Mstaafu Uhuru Ngina Kamau.

If you are silent in situations of injustice, you have taken the side of the oppressor."

HONGERENI SANA KWA KUWAMULIKIA WANANCHI WA KENYA KWA ONYO LENU LA HEKIMA, UJUZI, NA BUSARA.

ASANTENI SANA.
