Kenya Gov't Deregisters Mackenzie, Pastor Ezekiel's Churches

The government has cancelled the registration of five churches including the Goodnews International Ministries led by cult leader Paul Mackenzie and the Newlife Prayer Centre run by millionaire Pastor Ezekiel Odero.

Bishop Thomas Wahome's Helicopter Christ Church as well as Theophilus Church and Kings Outreach Church in Nairobi have also been stripped of their registration status. On August 18, the Registrar of Societies served notice of cancellation that had been in place since May 19, 2023. Mackenzie has been accused of forcing his followers to fast to death, resulting in the discovery of hundreds of bodies in a sprawling piece of land in Shakahola, Kilifi County, linked to the head of the congregation, Mackenzie.

The founder of the Helicopter church has been accused of land grabbing in Lang’ata Constituency and constructing houses on riparian land belonging to Nairobi Dam, leading to the cancellation of the church's Temporary Occupation License in 2016. The Societies Act allows for the cancellation of a society's registration if it is deemed likely to pursue unlawful or prejudicial purposes.

Recently, the Communications Authority suspended TV stations owned by Pastor Ezekiel and Mackenzie for airing inappropriate exorcism content during the watershed period. While Pastor Ezekiel's station was later reopened by court order, the Royal Park Home Owners Estate Association Langata had its registration cancelled by the Registrar on June 19.

Meanwhile, Pastor Ezekiel Odero is filing an appeal against the Registrar of Societies' decision to dissolve his New Life Church. Odero, represented by Lawyer Danstan Omari, claims that he did not receive any notice before the cancellation occurred. He argues that the Registrar's action shows ill intent, particularly since he already has plans for an upcoming conference. The conference, called 'Meza ya Bwana,' will last for two weeks and is predicted to attract over 100,000 attendees per day.

In using our inborn continental "Critical Thinking Skills," all foreign religious cults in Kenya and the entire continent should be banned and outlawed immediately in COHO (Continent of Human Origins). When? TODAY.
All foreign religious based instructions should be removed and outlawed from our entire school curriculum if we seriously want to be respected by the rest of the world. How do you expect to be respected by the world community if:
1, Your name or names are derived from our former colonial masters, the Bible, or the Quran?
2. You worship in foreign slave-based religions?
3. You ape foreign cultural traditions and practices ?
4. Worship foreign languages and speak them at home with your immediate family members!
5. You hate your natural skin color and hair given to you by the CREATOR?
6. You discard or ignore your history and admire all foreign heroes and heroines?

That religions are losing members in droves is no secret.And one of the main areasons;in fact the major one,I would say is that people are thinking and asking questions than ever before.They have found out that merely believing blindly leaves too many questions unanswered.For example how come, if there is one true religion,we find that religions are "geographically located,or based"? We also find out that the two dominant religions spread their faith by violence.Pretty much forcing people to be adherrants. Some of the teachings are outrightly ridicuous.For example Muhammed the prophet told his followers that;
-Drink Camel urine for medicinal purposes
-when a woman has orgasm first,the baby would be a girl
Thanks for the internet.People can do research,and ask questions that puzzle them,and have different opinions,and options instead of just having one sided story.
So critical thinking will tell you that all religions do one thing well,and that is offering 'answers'for the unknowns.Religions give us the answer as to why we exist,and for what purpose.It deals with the spiritual side of the homosapient.To that end,it is not as you can see, limited to only one, or two religions. Africans religions served ,and fulfiled this duty in our communities very well. Well,untill mzungu and the muslim forced their beliefs on the african.The good news is that,the african is realizing that we was bamboozoled.And that his religion is equally valid,and sacrosanct.
