Self-proclaimed Ghanaian Prophet Noah Ebo Says God Delayed Global Flood After Prophecy Backfires

A Ghanaian preacher who predicted a catastrophic flood for Christmas Day has said the event has been delayed after what he described as divine intervention.

Ebo Noah, who identifies himself as a prophet, now claims that God has granted humanity more time following prayers, though he maintains that the disaster remains inevitable and has not provided a revised date. Earlier this year, Noah released a series of videos in which he said he had received revelations about a global flood.

He claimed that continuous rainfall would begin on 25 December 2025 and last for three years, drawing comparisons with the biblical account of Noah’s Ark. He urged followers to build wooden vessels, store supplies, and prepare spiritually for what he described as an unavoidable judgement.

In a recent broadcast shared widely on social media, Noah said God had instructed him to expand his preparations. He stated that he had been told to build additional “modern Noah’s arks” to accommodate more people. He presented this instruction as a sign of mercy rather than a reversal of the prophecy.

The revised claim has generated strong reactions online. Supporters have described his message as a call to repentance, while critics argue that his statements are misleading and could cause harm. Some have cited Christian scripture, including passages stating that the world will not be destroyed again by water, as well as verses such as Matthew 24:36, which says the timing of the end times is unknown.

Palgrave Boakye-Danquah, a governance and security analyst, warned that predictions of impending disaster can have wider consequences beyond religious debate. He said such messages can fuel fear and urged Christians to rely on prayer and scripture rather than alarming claims shared online.

Despite criticism, Noah continues to promote his revelations and insists that his actions are guided by divine instruction.
