Nairobi's women representative Esther Passaris has appealed to Kenyans living outside the country to ease their constant criticism of Kenya's current President and his development plans.
Passaris asserts that many critics living abroad lack a comprehensive understanding of the nation's complex challenges. She pointedly remarks that individuals who have not participated in voting or contributed taxes to Kenya should refrain from excessive criticism of the president's performance. The legislator emphasizes the unprecedented obstacles confronting the current administration and praises President Ruto's dedication and focused approach to governance.
“I want to tell Kenyans who are out there, especially the ones who are abroad and probably have never even voted, and don’t even send any taxes to Kenya. We have many Kenyans who live abroad and they make so much noise and keep branding the president a liar,” Passaris says.
Passaris acknowledges the inherent difficulties in delivering commitments amid unpredictable circumstances. She notes that Ruto has been in office since 2022 and commends his persistent efforts to advance national development. The representative particularly celebrates the administration's collaborative approach, referencing the unprecedented cooperation with former Opposition Leader Raila Odinga in forming a broad-based government.
The parliamentarian has further elaborated on several key initiatives, including housing projects and market developments that she argues substantially benefit millions of Kenyans, particularly those in informal settlements. She expresses strong support for the housing tax, characterizing it as a critical mechanism for addressing urban housing challenges. Passaris is equally passionate about the universal healthcare initiative, critiquing high-income earners for their historically minimal contributions to national health insurance.
She articulates a vision of healthcare accessibility where every Kenyan can receive medical treatment, access medicines and interact with healthcare professionals without financial barriers.

who elected this one?
Passaris, dear Passaris, you should not lecture the diasporans about the way we criticize an inept leadership because we don’t pay taxes. For your information we inject so much money into the economy on daily bases. But I think you forgot that cos you guys cannot steal it. We literally keep the country afloat. So yes, we will criticize Ruto when he do wrong and it seems like this is a daily thing for him.
Mûthoni Passaris Ngûgî should first explain the functions of WR,a luxury seat okayed by 6.2m fools.Does she know that you must pay tax on sending money to Kenya whether to buy food, medicine or even pay NDÛRÛME?Who is she to lecture other Kenyans?
We hear you mama, but you seem to live in another universe. Tell us about the killings of our young people some of who voted for you whose only sin was to request for good governance, talk to us about the abductions, tell us about the bodies of the infamous Kware site, talk to us about the demolitions, explain to us why women and young girls are being killed daily, talk to us about corruption of public coffers and the sale of Kenya’s parastatals or shut up! Do you want us to keep silent when you kill NHIF and leave our mothers and siblings to die of treatable diseases. Do you know how much we remit back to Kenya in the name of hospital bills running to millions of KES? Do you know we are paying for education of our siblings because you removed all the subsidies? When was the last time you spoke for the struggling mama mboga or hustlers? We know who you are: a sycophant who wants to be relevant by trying to save a sinking Ruto so that he may recognize you and reward you handsomely. Btw, how much did you get paid to speak well of and pass the finance bill 2024? How much did you receive to vote to impeach Riggy G? We can see through you mama. We too belong to Kenya. Kenya is our country and we will speak against bad governance as long as we live. Stop this nonsense and work for the country. I hope you could go to Ruto and help him change course. If the whole country is crying, how dare you point a finger at those calling for change! Or are you angry because the Adani deal failed?
Clean Nairobi river first.
Collect garbage in Nairobi.
Provide clean drinking water for people in Nairobi.
Then create employment for people in Nairobi.
Start there.

Stop stealing, killing and abductions.
