Auma Obama's Strong Message to Kenyans

Former United States President Barack Obama’s younger sister, Auma Obama has taken to the social media to bash Kenyans over their lack of patriotism.

In a message on Twitter, Ms Obama first took issues with Prof Wajackoya, a leading political commentator, who while offering an opinion on KTN said that he was ‘ashamed to be a Kenyan citizen.’ The Professor was speaking in reference to amendment on electoral laws that were passed by the National Assembly on Wednesday and Senate on Thursday. He claimed that the amendments made Kenya ‘a laughing stock internationally.’

"How dare you be ashamed to be Kenyan! If we would strive to BE MORE KENYAN and not LUO, KIKUYU, KAMBA ETC, we would not be in this mess!!!," Auma Obama said on Twitter.

Auma called on Kenyans to rise above their ethnicity and confront the problems ailing Kenya. "We must each blame ourselves as Kenyans for not taking a stand AS A UNITED NATION. Don't blame look at what u can do!," she added.

The Problem with George Wajachoya is that One Fails to Understand What He What He REALLY Stands for in Kenya and Kenya's Political Arena. What is he Really Up to (Far, Above, and Beyond Yapping)? And those Grey Beards of his (out of nowhere)? Wow!

With people like Auma Obama in Gova, Kenya would truly be in a better place. She would have my vote. At the end of the day we want peace in our country. I would rather vote for a corrupt administration than someone who threatens my existence because of my Tribe. Thats the message Raila sends with his thuggish, confrontational behaviour.

There is a sane voice from the lakeside. Why can't more people like her take leadership role in Nyanza instead of Raila-nut suckers?

Absolutely, I would give her my vote any day. It ain't about a tribe, but when one person makes it about a tribe and continuously campaigns against that tribe, and Lumps us all as beneficiaries of a corrupt regime when 90% of our parents from that tribe have never benefitted from the so called favors, then I have issues with that person = Raila.

What a woman Auma Obama for president ! Kenya has to get rid of the old generation in politics by replacing them with the young ones who do not carry baggage of tribalism , hatred and corruption minds. after all you cannot teach old dogs new tricks . They will not change be it Raila, Kenyatta wetangula etc they are deep in the impunity system and revenge mentality

You are right Wamboi. Yesterday I shared the same view when I learned that the other presidential candidates can now contest for highest seat.My choice is Kayulu...He would be a breath of fresh air.Since Independence, Kenya has been ruled by pretty much the same political "families".Within the same time frame USA which most africans wish to aspire to has had over ten ten presidents. Time for change. And this has nothing to do with tribe. It has all to do with vision, drive, aspiration, sacrifice, patriotism, and anti-corruption,creating jobs, and economic growth.Lets try some of these new faces.

If Luo's offered the country fresh people who talk sense than the one old and tired rejected bull, they would be suprised when we join hands and vote for a Luo but if you keep offering the rejected and after him I am sure you will try his violent disciple's like Orengo, then it will never happen. Even Madvd if he wants to have a chance he needs to start distancing himself from the violent and greedy man right now and make it public.
