Raila Accuses President Uhuru of Rigging against Himself

Opposition leader Raila Odinga claims that President Uhuru Kenyatta's votes in the repeat presidential election held on Thursday have been inflated.

The former Prime Minister said that the results being displayed by Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) are not the actual results garnered by President Uhuru, adding that they have been doctored.

Speaking to Uganda's NBS on Saturday, Raila accused President Uhuru of rigging against himself, because he has no numbers.

"We have records where returning officers have been asked to beef up the figures. What they're doing right now is rigging against themselves. Uhuru is running against Kenyatta," he said.

He maintained that some electoral commission officials connived with Jubilee party leaders to bungle the cancelled August 8th election .

Raila said that he formed the National Resistance Movement to fight the injustices committed ny the current regime.

"We are here not because we want to be but because of the electoral process and until that is rectified, we shall not move on," he said.

"What we want is justice. We want a free and fair election but the country has been denied that for the past 12 years."

In another interview with CNN, Raila said that NRM will employ legal means to confront President Uhuru and his administration if he is declared winner after Thursdays repeat poll.

“If the government imposes itself on the people the people have a right to self determination the people also have a right to disobey orders coming from such a government therefore we will not go for violent confrontations with the government we will go for peaceful resistance,” Raila said.

Stop running to the media with cooked-up numbers and non-facts!!! What a liar you are!
Have some self-respect and accept defeat.... Kenya was not betrothed to you...stop acting like Kenya owes you anything. PATHETIC self-seeker.
Until when are you going to misuse young, poor men and women while your own kids are nowhere in the forefront of these shameful battles that you are creating to parade to your financiers?
Until when?

"we have records" upuzi! You withdrew from an election you have no business monitoring it or trying to hijack the outcome. Uhuru will be sworn in. I think this shetani is looking for another Supreme Court backdoor!

Scripture about Paul comes to mind; 2 Cor. 12
"It is necessary to go on boasting. Though it is not profitable..." another verse reads " Therefore, so that I would not become arrogant, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to trouble me—so that I would not become arrogant..." When leaders are arrogant or boastful then their citizenry is at its lowest, rights are violated and life cheapened. As a young person growing up near a major highway, me and my contemporaries played this intoxicating game, claiming ownership of cars, trucks and bus as they passed-by based on make, model color etc. To compound the stakes we were doing this as we looked after sheep, goats and cattle on the adjacent open fields. Obviously many times we were quickly carried away by this ownership game that we forgot about livestock that we had been entrusted to look after. The animals graced on farms and your guess is as good as mine-that evening proper disciplinary action followed, wealth of imaginary traffic notwithstanding. Moral: stop the ownership game and serve your people.
