Police in Nairobi Shoot Dead Four Suspects Believed to be Behind Killing of Catholic Priest John Njoroge

Police in Nairobi on Monday gunned down four suspects believed to be behind the murder of a Catholic priest in Kinoo area, Kiambu County on December 10th.
The four armed gangsters have been shot dead near K1 Club in Parklands by officers from the Special Crimes Prevention Unit while a fifth suspect escaped on foot.
Confirming the incident, Gigiri OCPD Richard Muguai says two pistols were recovered from the suspects who were driving in a saloon car.
Muguai says the vehicle the suspects were using is the same one used during the killing of Father John Njoroge Muhia of Kinoo Parish about three weeks ago.
The priest was carrying an unknown amount of cash and was headed to the bank when gangsters blocked his car, stole the church offering and shot him before escaping. The priest was pronounced dead on arrival at Kikuyu Hospital.
“We have information the same men were behind the killing of a priest in Kinoo two weeks ago. It was a sad end for them,” says Muguai.

Sometimes; and I mean sometimrs: Just disable the Suspects in whatever way possible, Arrest them, Interrogate them, take them to Court and Straight to Prison for Life.
@Akili, right! Only in Kenya…

@Akili, right! Only in Kenya is Police brutality applauded. My understanding is that their job is to arrest and only shoot when shot at and that is only to disable. In Kenya though, they are the Police, judge and jury. I suspect these trigger officers double up as the thugs out of duty. Just saying.
