Martha Karua Breaks Silence After Skipping Raila’s Crowning as Azimio Flagbearer
Narc-Kenya party leader Martha Karua has addressed her absence from the Azimio La Umoja convention, where Raila Odinga was endorsed as the coalition’s presidential flagbearer.
Karua, a One Kenya Alliance (OKA) principal, skipped the function held at Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) on Saturday as her co-principals led by Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka, Gideon Moi of Kanu and UDP’s Cyrus Jirongo led their respective parties in signing a coalition agreement under the Azimio La Umoja and endorsing Odinga for the presidency.
Musyoka announced that OKA has joined forces with the Azimio team and shelved his presidential ambitions in favor of Odinga, who is giving his fifth stab at the presidency.
Karua’s absence from the function graced by President Kenyatta of the Jubilee party raised questions, with some concerned Kenyans taking to social media to inquire about her whereabouts. Journalist David Makali was among those who noticed her conspicuous absence and sought to find out where she was.
“Where is Martha Karua?” Makali asked on Twitter.
Responding to Makali, Karua said she was “Relaxing at home.”

No, it's not a bad move! Martha Karua is a double agent. She is like a Cameleon, she can focus her eyesight on one target while the other eye is aiming at totally different target. She couldn't endorse because she is also hoping to be appointed as Ruto's running mate. Attending and endorsing Raila's nomination process would have killed her chances of being appointed Ruto's running mate. In fact, I Yusuf Ashar Ahmed do today predict Martha Karua will be Ruto's running mate
Karua is simply over rated as a politician. Her political skills are all not there. She can not b le a DP to no body. She is too arrogant for nothing. Why come out to explain her absence? Does anyone really care where Karua was? Please stay in your house Karua. No wonder Kibaki fired her!

Martha was not fired; she quit based on the fact that KIBAKI regime was frustrating her while trying to clean up the corrupt judicial SYSTEM in KENYA.
I want to think that she has a strategy behind her absence and silence , but nah. I don’t see any. She is toast, as the westerners would say.
