Reports have emerged of a disturbing rise in the number of women being murdered in the country.
In Kiganjo, Gatundu South, a harrowing event occurred on Sunday evening. In the depths of a dense forest, the body of a woman was discovered. Adding to the anguish of this finding was the savage removal of her left breast. Authorities state that the deceased, a woman of 55 years, had participated in a church gathering earlier that day and was expected to join her relatives for a gathering in Itikarua village later in the evening. However, her absence raised alarm among her family members. Despite their relentless attempts to contact her via phone, all their efforts proved futile.
A neighbour eventually informed the family that a woman's body had been found near a nearby bridge, not far from their home. After identification, the body was taken to Gatundu Level Five Hospital's mortuary for examination. In another incident, police officers patrolling the Githurai 44 area heard the distressing cries of a woman coming from a rented house on Saturday night. They immediately responded and discovered that the woman had been assaulted by her boyfriend following an argument. The officers swiftly arrested the suspect and urgently took the victim, who was in critical condition, to the hospital for medical attention.
Imani Medical Centre received a severely injured woman who had sustained deep cuts on her body, specifically her left arm and left leg. Despite the profuse bleeding, she was promptly treated at the centre before being transferred to Kiambu Level 5 Hospital. Due to her critical condition, she was transported in a police vehicle for specialized treatment. Tragically, she did not survive her injuries and passed away upon arrival at the hospital, as stated in the official police report (OB number 37/20/1/2024).
During this tragic incident, Rita Waeni's family visited the City Mortuary on Monday. Their purpose was to view a human head that had been discovered in a dam in Kiambaa the previous night. This visit was a crucial part of the ongoing investigation into the horrifying murder that shocked the nation. Upon seeing the head, the family started to question its association with Rita. To dispel these uncertainties, they proceeded to the Kiambaa Police Station to examine the belongings found alongside the head. They aimed to determine if these items belonged to their cherished daughter.
On the previous Sunday, the lifeless body of Rita was tragically discovered. She had been subjected to a brutal stabbing and decapitation, and concealed in a paper bag within a residence along TRM Drive in Nairobi. Just three days after her disappearance, her family received unusual messages from her phone number, demanding a ransom of Sh500,000 for her safe return. Worried about her safety, they promptly reported the situation to the police. During the subsequent autopsy, it was revealed that her attackers had also taken the precaution of trimming her fingernails, possibly in an attempt to hide any potential evidence. It is important to note that Rita's murder follows the killing of socialite Starlet Wahu, who was found deceased in a South B apartment.
A sharp increase in gender-related violence has occurred within the nation, leading activists fighting for women's rights to arrange a nationwide demonstration at Jevanjee Garden. The protest will commence on Saturday at 10 am and intends to condemn the distressing escalation of femicide incidents. Additionally, similar protests will be conducted in Kisumu and Mombasa counties.

Ask Ruto that question. His Nigerian family members are busy cutting women into pieces. Ritualistic crap between the kalenjins and their Igbo counter parts. You ain’t seen it yet!
In many of such psychopathic cases you will find mental illness is at the root and that is being driven by among other things drug use and drug addiction.
So, your analysis is that everyone is all over a sudden insane or on drugs?!?
People no longer want to work and want easy life without putting in the work or sweat, so its basically the pursuit of quick wealth or gains. There is a lot of covetousness and false sense of entitlement. So basically its greed and corruption. Weve read about the two sisters who mysteriouly died after checking in hotels. Even after helping the orphans, and inspite of all the charitable work - this wasnt enought - no, it was enough somebody wanted something from them. We are no longer instilling or modelling in young people, the lessons and ethics and morals that made us to be resilient to withstand the shocks of life. So its all about partying, living large etc and to achieve this easy life quickly, then the process is through thieving, killing, corruption etc.
A rouge leadership in the country breeds all manner of criminal activities. For a country to have good moral conscience, the leaders must lead the way. Just look at who is the top politician in Kenya and try to study his corrupt background. It is then you will understand that the fish is severely rotten from the head to the tail!
What the HELL is going on??? Our daughters, sisters and mothers are being brutally slaughtered!!!!
