Ruto Promises to Put Up a Chapel at State House If Elected President

Deputy President William Ruto has promised to put up a chapel at State House if he clinches the presidency after the August 9th general elections.

Speaking on Sunday during a mass at Joy in Christ Fellowship Church in Juja, Kiambu County, Ruto said he will build a bigger chapel than the one he put up at the deputy president’s official residence in Karen in 2019.

While exuding confidence that he will be elected president, Ruto urged Kenyans to pray for the country ahead of the forthcoming elections.

“We built one at the Hustlers’ Mansion, but we had challenges. I believe we will not build like the one we build at the mansion, we will build a bigger one so that this country can continue recognizing the presence of God,” said Ruto.

Ruto, who accused some unnamed government officials of trying to stop the putting up of the chapel at the Karen residence, termed faith as a key pillar of his alliance, saying that he believes the country will have a peaceful election.

“We are requesting you to pray for our country that we will have a peaceful election. We want to have an unprecedented election. An election where all of us will submit to the will of the people of Kenya and make our country move to the next level,” he added.

The deputy president reiterated his commitment to protect religious institutions and safeguard the freedom of worship as provided for in the Constitution.

Speaking on Saturday during a prayer summit organized by Grace Gachagua, the spouse of his running mate Rigathi Gachagua, Ruto assured religious leaders that his government will protect religious freedom in the country.

“My running mate and I undertake that we will do whatever it takes to keep this country as a God-fearing nation. We commit that no church will be closed under our watch,” he said during the meeting convened at the Nyayo Stadium in Nairobi.

“We commit that the registration of churches shall proceed unhindered.”

Samoei:

We all know that you are brainwashed beyond redemption and that you still do not realize that you worship a "foreign deity" who has nothing to do with our traditional religions.

Now that you have made your intentions known about forcing the "Religiously liberated Kenyans to worshipping foreign deities in our State House," I sincerely believe that you are one of the most dangerous presidential candidate in the entire Kenyan history.

As a matter of fact, I seriously think that you did not learn anything in the many years that you attended "British-based brainwashing useless Schools in Kenya" and I seriously think that you should go back to school and start all over again.

Do you know that every language had its own religion before slavery and colonization? What makes you believe that the religion that was founded by the Son Of Mary - the one that you have been brainwashed to be a follower is the right religion for all humanity?

You are a terribly misinformed political candidate and every effort should be made to make sure that you are defeated politically come August 09, 2022.

There are about 4,200 religions, cultures, and languages in the world. Poor Brother Samoei does not realize that he has been brainwashed to be a follower of a slave-based and colonial religion. Please read Leviticus 25: 44-46 and see how slavery is justified in the Jewish Religious book known as the "bible." I feel sorry for your lost and illiterate religious upbringing.

I am sorry to inform you that you are not fit to be the
next president of Kenya.

So Christianity and specifically his brand becomes the de facto official faith. Given that Kenyans of all faiths pay taxes on the upkeep of the state house, why would some religion foisted on us by foreigners have a position of primacy in the state house?

Bwana Hustler, you are shooting yourself in the foot, perhaps your azz with only a few weeks to the finish line!

It doesn’t matter what your religion is or isn’t! We [must] [separate] the State from religion. Period!

Those are two distinct evils that must remain distinct!!!

Do not use my tax shillings to put up fake chapels in State House. State House is the house that represents all Kenyans and this election is about putting money into the common person and not putting the common person into your pocket like you have done all your life. If anyone wants to pray they can go to church or mosque or whatever. Come August you will be taking a hike to Surgoi. And as I hear, Martha will be waiting for you with handcuffs and off to Kamiti you will go!

Ruto please stop lying to the preachers. How nany chapels have you build so far. Did you not burn the Kiambaa chapel with 37kikuyu christian women and their children in it? God will not alliw a murderer to be the president of the Republic of Kenya. Stop your nonesense ruto.

All that PhD and Arap Mashamba can't understand separation of church and state? Faith is a personal journey, experience and testament; not a collective one. God will judge you as an individual, not a family, county or country or even race.

So, since Kenya is multi-denominational, will we also build a mosque, Hindu temple, atheist lounge etcetera, at state house?

The Satanic forces have really captured the church through WSR. Ruto is truly demon possessed and many things he has recently been talking about clearly shows his evil state of mind. Ruto does not mean well for kenya.

He worships idols like most ifidels that are in historical books. The funny thing about all this ruto’s nonsense is that the church has been blind folded and captured by wsr and Rachel.

Kenyans can not trust Ruto with the presidency.

MakOnyango (not verified)     Mon, 07/18/2022 @ 09:17am

Politicians the world over flow with the wind direction. Ruto is a shrewd politician and knows very well good selling points. In some other words, religion is a strong institution in Kenya and he knows the average Joe Blow might vote for him just because of that statement.

Asista (not verified)     Mon, 07/18/2022 @ 02:05pm

As much as I respect religion to some limits, I don’t agree for taxpayers money to set up a chapel of sort in state house. If that had to be set then , we better agree to set up chapels for every denomination in the country.
I think we will agree to utilize the available churches or mosques that are readily available.

@Asista recently got admission to a hospital after her developed hypertension for knowing that ruto has lost the elections. He is now nursing some painful heartaches wounds in the ICU. @asista, we told you to let loose the thief but you kept holding on Ruto.

Wesley (not verified)     Mon, 07/18/2022 @ 03:25pm

You burned down the Kiambaa Church with the faithfuls in it and now you want to build a chapel at state house? Do you think Kenyans are that stupid? Come on Ruto.

Wesley, no you are wrong. You are only spreading rumors. Ruto did not do anyone of your allegations. Yes it it happened but you have to ask yourself why there were skirmishes in the country. Was it because Ruto had lost presidential elections. Of course you rightly know who caused the mayhem.

Wesley (not verified)     Mon, 07/18/2022 @ 03:28pm

Ruto now wants to have more faithfuls in arms reach so that he will not have to go far if he decides to burn more Christians if he is elected president.

SimamaImara (not verified)     Tue, 07/19/2022 @ 04:32pm

An Evangelist president will be preaching to State House visitors okay. I don't know if the next occupant will use it, and if a non Christian gets elected, might build his yoga/Buddha/Islam shrine.

Last week we learnt that he blackmailed uhuru of billion and i mean billions of kshs to be his running mate. Uhuru went on defence when anyone who was not kalenjin was being murdered , houses burned including church people being chased out of their land otherwise we would have been wiped out . Uhuru paid billions because he knew without kalenjins he would not win presidency and if Ruto won Kenya would have been worse than Moi time . it is my believe this could have been the reason 'buy him for peace' now he is running scared cause the barometer shows Raila is ahead .He is spreading lie after lie about being hunted .I have never heard Uhuru being connected with disappearance of people. he has not been the best president he has left us with a lot of debts. but at least there was freedom of expression and room to do biz, but it is a milestone to stop corruption while most of us are willing to pay to have things done . who want his PSV confiscated by police while his children are not eating and mind you for not breaking any rule , you must pay matatus 50 trucks 100 that is huge percentage of profit
