It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Beatrice Eshirama Wabuko Omiti on November 20th in Dallas, Texas after a brief illness. Beatrice's wish is to be laid to rest in her husband's home in Kegogi Village, Nyamira County, Kenya.
Beatrice Omiti was born on July 22, 1964, daughter to the Late Jotham Wabuko Nandwa and the Late Repha Ngesa Wabuko in Butere County. Daughter in-law to the Late Livingston Ong'era Nyauma and the Late Hebisibah Monyeka Nyauma. She attended Buchenya Primary School and Butere Girls High School.
Beatrice was a diligent and hard worker starting out as an untrained teacher. Beatrice attended The Technical University of Kenya (Formerly Kenya Polytechnic). She worked as a clerk at the Kenya Revenue Authority (Formerly Customs Department). Beatrice then joined the corporate world of banking through guidance and encouragement by her husband Lazarus. She worked for Kenya Commercial Bank and happily served the people of Bungoma, Siaya, Kericho, Nyamira and Malaba Counties. She retired after working for the Kenya Commercial Bank Malaba Branch as a cashier.
Years later she had the opportunity to accompany her husband and immigrated to the US in 2017. Since then she has served people of the great State of Texas at Pitney Bowes and as a Nurse's assistant. Beatrice served with joy, positivity and always with a smile and a good heart.
Beatrice is survived by her husband Lazarus Omiti Ong'era, two daughters Victoria Aseka Omiti and Faith Winnie Omiti, two sons Franklin Nyauma Omiti and Felix Nyakang'o Omiti, Seven Grandchildren Nathaniel, Krystie, Frank Jr., Bishop, Chance, Ace and Gideon, Brothers Herbert, Harrison, Ezekiel, Ibrahim, Haggai, Nandwa and Sisters: Emily, Carolyne, Lilly, Esther, Flora and Rose, Sisters in-law:- Florence. Margaret, Caren, Veronica, Brothers in-law James, Japheth and George, Nieces and Nephews.
Family and Friends are meeting daily for support and prayers at 2534 Hollandale Circle, Arlington, Texas, 76010.
The Requiem Mass will be at Amalla Funeral Home located at 5210 McCart Ave, Fort Worth, Texas 76115. The date of the service will be determined on a later day.
