President Kenyatta Mourns Former Finance Minister David Mwiraria, Calls Him a Source of Inspiration for Many

President Uhuru Kenyatta has mourned the late former Finance Minister David Mwiraria, who passed away from cancer at Karen Hospital in Nairobi on Thursday.

The president hailed the late David Mwiraria’s dedication and performance in his many years of service to the nation, having served as both a Cabinet Minister and an MP, and before then as a long-term civil servant.

“His outstanding service as a Cabinet Minister and his sterling performance as a Member of Parliament will remain a source of inspiration and motivation to many aspiring leaders,” President Kenyatta said.

He added that the late Mwiraria was generous, cheerful and a person of influence whose guidance and influence will be missed by many.

David Mwiraria, an economist by profession, served as the first Finance Minister in retired President Mwai Kibaki’s administration, holding the powerful docket from 2003 to 2006. He resigned from the position after allegations of involvement in the Anglo Leasing scandal. He also served as Member of Parliament for North Imenti from 1992 to 2007. He lost his re-election bid in 2007.

He succumbed to Stage Four cancer on Thursday at the age of 79.

These ODM guys are insulting Mwiraria.I guess what they are trying to tell us is that if Raila and his Nasa entouroge were in Power there would be no corruption.Everybody knows that this argument is absolute rubbish. We were not born yesterday.Try selling that lie to some other fools elsewhere.I am an ordinary Mwananchi and I hate corruption as much as the next guy.Lakini don't try to tell me that the NASA HYENAs are not going to be corrupt if they were in power. That is pure nonsense. They could be the worst corrupt Hyenas that we have ever seen.

If money could buy life, Mwirari could live forever. All the monies including Anglo leasing sassa ziko wapi? Atazikwa na hizo pesa zote? It is high time we stopped unscrupulous means to get riches against other tribes.

UHURUTO waiguru and the rest of hyenas should learn a lesson from Mwiraria that money does not buy life and they will not take their money or 680 hotel iconic hotel to the grave.
