Duale: Raila Was Promised Sh1 Billion 'Bribe' to Influence IEBC Ballot Printing Tender

The Jubilee Party claims that National Super Alliance presidential candidate Raila Odinga is opposing the ballot printing tender after his preferred South African firm lost the tender to Dubai-based Al Ghurair.
Speaking in parliament, Jubilee MPs led by Majority Leader in the National Assembly, Aden Duale said that Odinga was pushing for Paarl Media— the South African company to win the Sh2.5-billion contract, and was aggrieved that Al Ghurair won the lucrative tender.
Duale said that two directors of the company Ben Sachs and Peter Shailesh met Odinga thrice in December 2015 and twice in April 2016 and that they struck a deal to have him vouch for the company to be awarded the deal.
According to Duale, the firm agreed to contribute Sh1 billion to Odinga campaign, on conditions that it was awarded the tender.
At the same time, the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI) through Chairman Kiprono Kittony has confirmed that it hosted Majid Saif Al Ghurair in his capacity as chairman of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and linked him to pay a courtesy call on President Uhuru Kenyatta at State House in October 2016, but no ballot tender was discussed.
IEBC has declined to cancel the Sh2.5 billion ballot paper printing contract awarded to the Dubai firm, saying that it was a done deal.

Neither Jubilee Alliance nor NASA leaders are fit to steer our abused nation of Kenya in the direct direction.
I just read how the buses are paying a big financial loss as a result of Uhuru determining the railway fare from Mombasa to Nairobi which makes it impossible for the buses to compete with the SGR fare.
This is not the job of the president to favor one side of the business while sacrificing all the people who relied on the bus transportation, bus stops, hawkers to feed their families!
Kenya is headed to darkness and death. We as Kenyans should come up with a national leader (not uhuru or Raila) who can steer our nation to the appropriate direction.
How about forming the Federation of East Africa (Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania) and asking Ndugu Pombe Magufuli to be the first president of this federation!

The Mombasa - Nairobi buses can move to other areas. They have to use their brain. Nobody is forcing them to keep operating at the same route. The train takes 4 hrs while the bus takes 8 - 10 hrs. There is no comparison. Free market

am not at @ all political. the sgr has been in making for a long time so a bus business person should have known the consequences and probably invested in the SGR.
Normally gov own the public transit so they can bear the losses.
