Peter Kenneth: Deputy President William Ruto Rigged Me Out of Jubilee Nominations

Nairobi gubernatorial contender Peter Kenneth has named Deputy President William Ruto as the man who rigged him out of the Jubilee party nominations in favor of Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko.

Kenneth said that Ruto pitched tent at the Jubilee party headquarters in Nairobi during the nominations, from where he plotted the rigging. “We did not lose the Jubilee party nominations because my opponent was assisted by somebody high up in the Party hierarchy,” he said.

He added, “Our opponent was assisted by somebody who wanted to cut me to size politically…and let’s not cheat ourselves, that person is Ruto.”

The former Gatanga Member of Parliament was speaking a campaign rally at Mlango Kubwa area of Mathare constituency, Nairobi on Tuesday.

“They ensured they voted twice, thrice, ten times, and the worst case was where an individual voted a record 51 times,” he said.

Kenneth told his supporters that his vision for a better Nairobi remains strong, dismissing Jubilee’s Mike Sonko as one with no capacity to be Nairobi governor. “Sonko knows he can’t run this city that is why he has acquired a new image of donning suits every day. He may have a new suit everyday but his brains and thinking remain the same.”

He added: “Even with new suits, Sonko has not changed; he is merely hiding behind those suits.”

Kenneth said that Sonko and Kidero were just but the same person, who colluded in stealing, but disagreed after things turned sour. “They worked together, ate together and only fell out after they disagreed on a deal. This is why they are on the separate paths.”

Kenneth urged voters to back his bid in the August polls, pledging to turn things around if elected. “Every sub county will remain with the taxes it collects so as it promotes its own social services like repairing drainage, roads and sewerage.”

Kenneth is contesting for the top seat as an independent candidate and will be facing Kidero, Sonko and Miguna Miguna in the August 8th general election.

I had no idea PK you could lower yourself to this level of mudslinging. Na kweli being power hungry turns folks to bitter men . If you are better than Kidero and Sonko, the why don't you spend time as an independent candidate promoting what you intend to accomplish , wacha siasa Mbaya!

Ndugu Peter Kenneth, I urge you to run as an independent candidate for the position of governor in the city of Nairobi. Look at the US senator Bernie Sanders of the state of Vermont (Independent). He is not a member of the two crooked republican and democratic political parties and he is doing a wonderful job in the US Congress. He is able to articulate his ideas very well because he is not answerable to the lobbies that run the two major parties in US Congress.

Long live the city of Nairobi without Kidero, Songo, or Miguna as governors but with Peter Kenneth as the next governor of Nairobi.

And Bernie Sanders is still swallowing bitter bill, you comparison is not even on point however, at least giving due where it is may Be deserved, Bernie stuck in his constituency for many years before he even attempted the National vote, can we say that of loser PK? It is still tyranny of numbers and who resonates to voters and I'm afraid bourgeois let -them -eat -cake PK is not it!
