Kabogo: August Elections End of Kenyattas, Odingas Political Dynasties

Kiambu Governor William Kabogo says that the August 8 elections will be the end of Kenyattas and Odingas families’ dominance in Kenyan politics.

President Uhuru Kenyatta and National Super Alliance (NASA) Presidential candidate Raila Odinga will be the last from the two families, who have dominated Kenya’s politics since independence, and Kenya will open a new chapter of leadership, says Kabogo.

“This is the last one (election) for the Kenyattas and last one for Raila (Odinga), and from there, we move on. I am saying something that no one else can dare say,” Kabogo said as quoted by the Nation.

Uhuru’s father Mzee Jomo Kenyatta and Raila’s Jaramogi Odinga were Kenyans founding fathers at independence, and their rivalry came to play shortly after Kenya gained self-rule, and, 50 years later, their sons are the main contenders for the Country’s top seat in the August 8 elections.

But according to Kabogo, this will be the last time Kenya will be treated to rivalry and leadership from the two families.

Kabogo further hit out at the Deputy President William Ruto accusing his of planning for his downfall, as he considers him an impediment to his state house bid in the 2022 elections.

“I’m not being fought because of you (Kiambu people), but by those who want seats in 2022, but I will face them head-on and I’m not keeping quiet this time round. I have made a similar stand before when I said we will not give this person (Ruto) the seat just like that and I’m saying it again. We will not support him unless we see development,” Kabogo said.

I plead with Kiambu people to reject this clown on August 8 at the ballot, send him home and have him permanently relegated to a political Siberia and thereby deny him any platform which he can use purporting to speaking on behalf of the hardworking people of Kiambu county.

Ndugu Kabogo, I agree with you. However you forgot to mention another force lying low in the background.

Recently, Mama Uhuru visited Toroitich and they had a private meeting. In this meeting the rumor says that, KTAM (Kipkorios Toroitich Arap Moi) was promised that he should support the re-election of Uhuru in return for his support for the son of KTAM to be the president of Kenya come 2022.

We are sick and tired of the Odinga, Kamau, and Toroitich families dominating the politics of Kenya for more than half a century.

Enough is Enough. Why not begin grooming a member of the OGIEK ( the indigenous people of Kenya) micro-nation to take over the presidency come 2022 with a member of the minority Kuria people as the vice president!

We can't continue maintaining the idea that, " Samaki wale wakubwa wanakula wale wadogo" philosophy indefinitely in Kenyan's politics.
