Raila: I'll Concede Defeat If I Lose

National Super Alliance (NASA) Presidential flag bearer Raila Odinga has confirmed that he is ready to concede defeat if he loses in the August 8 presidential contest.
Speaking in an interview with Jambo Kenya show on Radio Citizen on Friday morning, the ODM leader said he will accept the results of the polls, but challenged the relevant bodies led by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) to conduct a free, fair and credible election.
Raila once again condemned the Jubilee administration for militarizing politics, saying that Kenya Defense Forces, an apolitical unit meant for external operations was being involved in this year’s election process.
He said that Jubilee was using government resources to fulfill its agenda, adding that the President was overstepping its mandate as the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces.
Raila had earlier raised concerns over involvement of the army, who he said were being ‘unlawfully’ trained to secure General Election, allegations which the late Interior Cabinet Secretary Joseph Nkaissery dismissed.
“I recently gave a report saying there is a meeting going on at the Embakasi Barracks, which involved public servants like regional coordinators and county coordinators, administrative police and also the Kenya army, they were taught how to oversee security during elections but I said that it is not constitutionally right to engage the army in domestic affairs,” said Raila.
The NASA leader challenged President Kenyatta also to commit to accepting the results of the elections and not to interfere with the electoral process.
Raila exuded confidence that he will emerge victorious in the upcoming elections, his fourth shot at the Country’s top political office.

Mjinga: Unless you Keep Your DIRTY Mouth Shut, you're going to follow the following people:
In 2003 around August after the demise of the late Wamalwa Kijana the then Vice President, GG Kariuki was quoted saying that Raila Amolo Odinga can only become President over his dead body. In 1997 at a political rally in Kapsapet, the then powerful cabinet minister Mr Nicholas Biwott was quoted several times by the media saying that Raila can never be the President unless over his dead body. On 21st of 1999, Ambassador Betthuel Kiplagat wrote an article entitled *The Rise of power*. In his article he attempts to explain why KANU should be left to unite Kenyans by rejecting Raila Amolo Odinga who can never be president unless over his dead body. You all know what Nkaissery told Raila during the IEBC protests last year. The system is coming down!
