British Soldier Dies at Kenyan Girlfriend's House under Mysterious Circumstances

A UK soldier has reportedly passed on at his Kenyan girlfriend’s home in Nanyuki, Laikipia County on Saturday.

David Jones allegedly complained of a headache before collapsing and dying on the spot.

“He told the longtime girlfriend that he had a severe headache before vomiting. He later collapsed and died,” Laikipia East police boss James Kithuka said.

Jones was at his girlfriend’s house, Joyce Nyakinyua on Saturday, where he had visited her.

The cause of his death is yet to be established. Witnesses said that gunshots were fired in the air to help disperse a crowd of neighbors at the scene of incident.

David’s remains were picked up by a British Army ambulance and later taken to Nairobi for an autopsy.
