Ekuru Aukot, Japheth Kaluyu Concede Defeat to President Uhuru

Thirdway Alliance's Ekuru Aukot and Independent candidate Japhet Kavinga Kaluyu have conceded defeat to President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Speaking moments after Uhuru Kenyatta was declared President-elect by Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC), Ekuru and Kavinga accepted the outcome of the poll and promised to fight another day.

“While we might have come a distant third, we will play an effective opposition role now that the other outfit abandoned the role,” said Dr Aukot.

Dr Kaluyu said Uhuru's declaration presents an opportunity for Kenyans to move on following extended electioneering period.

“Our presence made it easier for Kenyans to realise that there are other people besides them, and to respect us and move on with the election,” said Dr Kaluyu.

Uhuru garnered 7,483,895 votes im the repeat poll and was on Monday evening declared President-elect by Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) Chairman Wafula Chebukati having satisfied the 50 percent plus one vote and at least 25 percent in more than half of the 47 counties.

Kaluyu and Aukot, please teach Raila how to concede. I hope you guys can hang around to 2022 cos we need a strong opposition unlike what we have had the last decade or so.

Someone suggested, elsewhere, that if there is going to be any dialogue between UK and RAO, these candidates should be part of that dialogue. Me thinks that's a very good idea.....would be an ideal suggestion of 'hanging around to 2022!

The reason why fake Joshua has never been defeated in any election is because he add all those absent voters to his total. Uhuru got 7.65M this time but fake Joshua got all the rest which is 19M - 7.65M = 11.35M. The big news he will announce tomorrow is that he won with 11.35M
