NASA to Launch Push for Removal of US Ambassador to Kenya Robert Godec

National Super Alliance (Nasa) says it will begin a campaign to push for the removal of United States Ambassador to Kenya Robert Godec.

National Assembly Minority Leader John Mbadi said Members of Parliament affiliated to Nasa will start signing a petition to the US Parliament demanding that Godec be recalled by Trump administration.

Mbadi claimed that Ambassador Godec was the source of some of the political problems the country is facing today.

“Nasa MPs will demand that Godec be removed from Kenya because he has become a source of the problem in our politics,” Mbadi stated.

Mbadi further accused Godec and envoys from other Western countries of keeping silence when Jubilee administration continues to violate the Constitution.

“If they are honest, then they must tell this regime to uphold the rule of law, freedom of media and respect the Judiciary," Mbadi stated.

He went on: "They should be ashamed to tell us to recognise a regime that cannot obey court orders, arrests Opposition leaders and withdraw their security.”

“They [envoys] have never supported our interests. They are only pushing for their interests including tenders.”

11 foreign envoys had on Sunday asked opposition leader Raila Odinga to first recognise Kenyatta as President as a starting point for dialogue to end political impasse in the country.

However, in a quick rejoinder, Odinga asked the diplomats to stop interfering with Kenyan politics, stating that Kenyans are capable of solving problems on their own.

The 11 included; Robert Godec (US), Nic Hailey (UK), Jutta Frasch (Germany), Alison Chartres (Australia), Sara Hradecky of Canada, Mette Knudsen (Denmark), Anna Jardfelt (Sweden), Victor Conrad Rønneberg (Norway), Frans Makken (Netherlands), Tarja Fernández (Finland) and Kim Ramoneda (France).

Last week US State Department expressed confidence with Ambassador Godec, noting that he " has our full support."

If Ambassador Godec is the source of problems in NASA's politics as Mbandi claims, in essence Mbandi is saying Trump is the problem. Godec represents Trump in Kenya. Mr. Mbandi, just a little homework will show you that US does not have a Parliament. So, your petition is null and void if addressed to US Parliament. Your NASA is the problem in Kenya but it is not going to be for much longer.

I just wonder whether there is any sense left in Hon. Mbandi. This gent can say anything to please his master. If NASA MPs are to petation USA to remove Amb. Codec then they should imclude the other 10 who signed the petation. Vichwa manji.

Peace loving gvnmt officials,, civil servants, media and wananchi wazalendo should ignore NASA calls and Raila in particular. Upuzit mtupu!

I've said severally that everyone in ODM from its self-centered evil leader greedy for the presidency by hook or crook to the street thugs are ALL Odinga Demented Morons who frequently engage in futile cult like worship of their equally demented clown. How do they dare complain of Jubilee government violating the constitution while every steps these sore Luo losers have taken since August 8, 2017 has been willful violation of the constitution and laws of our country? If the opposition in the USA or any other Western power violated the law the way these morons have done in Kenya they could all be locked up by now for attempting to overthrow a duly elected government. And how do these lazy morons and idlers propose to force the US to withdraw Godec just because a bunch of shameless clowns foolishly jump around in unison with their moron-in-chief? It's really mind boggling how a community with most PhDs, professors, doctors, judges and lawyers in Kenya can also act like juvenile morons time and time again!! Perhaps all their sons and daughters ought to be circumcised if that would change their herd mentality and stop acting like a community of blind sheep following a blind and deaf head sheep!!!

TO NASA, I thought your leader Raila said "constitution my foot"
What constitution are you talking about. I thought your Raila failed to follow court orders when he inaugurated himself in a fake manner to hoodwink his followers. I thought people's assemblies were declared illegal, but NASA formed them in their counties defying court orders. What court orders are you talking about. When the lawless NASA defy court orders it's ok, but when the government protects Kenya against NASA affiliated partisan judge's with their irresponsible rulings, then you cry foul!!!

The Kenya government and the moral majority have full confidence in all Western Diplomats, and especially Godec and the UK ambassador. We ask for forbearance as we manage our insane brothers from the Lake region.

@kenjuu i agree but please desist as much as posible using the word LUO in your posts. Mind you not all Luos have a herd mentality. What would you say of Raphael Tuju, Phillip Ochieng among others? Contast that with the likes of Maina Kiai, Ndii, Wanjigi, or even our other son Ndubi who got drunk and slept in the middle of the road last night.

If after going to the institutions of higher learning that are based on "European/American/Canadian and many more other foreign ones, we end up with college graduates making extremely challenging statements like some that I have read above, we need to go back to our traditional form of education.

Thank you Ndugu @Njai for your wise, brief, neutral, and rational comments.
