Ceremony to Welcome Kisumu Governor Nyong'o from the US Turns Chaotic

A thanksgiving ceremony organised to welcome back Kisumu Governor Anyang’ Nyong’o from the United States, where has been receiving treatment for the past several weeks turned ugly after aggrieved locals chased away two leaders from the event.

Kisumu Senator Fred Outa and Kisumu Central MP Fred Ouda, who have been accused of undermining Governor Nyong'o in his absence, were forced to scamper for safety after irate residents threatened to beat them up.

Emotions run high after Nyakach MP Aduma Owuor claimed that the two were behind a scheme to take over from the Governor, who has been out of the country for the last few months after he underwent a hip surgery at the University of California Hospital in the United States.

“When you were away, some busy bodies were going round peddling lies that you promised them they would take over from you,” he said at Jomo Kenyatta Sports Ground.

In his speech, however, Nyong'o avoided the matter and instead reiterated his commitment to fulfilling his pledges to residents of the lakeside city.

“I was also working while out of the country. I had discussions with some American investors and we hope to deliver some medical machines in two weeks,” he said.

Drama at the lakeside as usual.I suppose a video would be better than the story.Where are the paparazzis when you need them! So Kenya has many many doctors but none qualified to operate on Lupitas dad huh! Kisumu residents ought to be grateful he got them couple of second hand machines (hopefully in working condition) to show his commitment to his dear constituents. God help us!

Is it called living a psychological drama!
Highly character-driven, Emphasis on conflict both external and internal, with culture of violence or threat of violence. Figuratively, can't folks eat from the same plate? why do they have to 'spill the food to eat from the floor'? Next time I see nasa this nasa that, I will be reminded not to take it so "personal".

Prof Nyong'o means well for his electorate However, his hands are tied by his God papa Raila who is anti development. If you doubt it, check all Nasa controlled counties against JP and note the difference. Takataka everywhere, riots, discord and flying stones.

Wajaluo don't care abiiut development, they only care for whatever their baba/god wants and anyone who supports him. Their baba/god only wants to be called president and that is just what they care for, for now, they are a pathetic lot.
