Uhuru, Raila Unveil 14-Member Team to Spearhead Unity Initiative

President Kenyatta and Opposition leader Raila Odinga have unveiled a 14-member team that will spearhead the process of uniting the country.

The team has been named nearly two months after the two shook hands outside Harambee House on March 9th and pledged to work together.

Dubbed Advisors for the Building Bridges Initiative, the team consists of political and religious leaders as well as renowned scholars in the country.

The 14 will now work under the stewardship of the secretariat chaired by Ambassador Martin Kimani from Uhuru's side and lawyer Paul Mwangi, representing Raila's side.

“It is notified for the general information of the public that President Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga have appointed a team of 14 advisors to assist in the work of the Building Brides Initiative,” reads a statement sent out to newsrooms by Dennis Onyango, Raila's spokesperson.

The 14 include; Dr Adams Oloo, Agnes Kavindu, Senator Amos Wako, Ms. Florence Omose, Professor Saeed Mwanguni, Mzee James Matundura, Major (rtd) John Seii and Bishop Lawi Imathiu.

Others are; Hon Maison Leshomo, Senator Mohamed Yusuf Haji, Morompi ole Ronkai, Bishop Peter Njenga, Rose Moseu and Zecheus Okoth.

Give us a break.
Kenyans cannot UNITE behind imposters, Electoral Fraudsters and sell-out..😂😂😂

This goes against every African culture, religion and common sense.

The US must be paying for this.Only they who can actual finance such Ponzi schemes.

This is a waste of mwananchi shillings, the 14, get paid twice, for their regular jobs then this new commision job, how aboit hiring the jobless to these positions? After the unity for the remaing 4 yrs then another drama for elections then form another commision for unity or this will end ALL ELECTION FRACAS, politicians are hypocrites. Kenyans open ur eyes on them and love ur neighbor regardless of political or tribe affiliations but if we depend on politicians then we are DONE.
