President Kenyatta Demands the Allocation of Two Permanent UN Security Council Slots to Africa

President Uhuru Kenyatta has called for the allocation of two permanent seats at the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) to Africa.
Speaking when he delivered Kenya’s statement at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York, United States on Wednesday afternoon, Kenyatta said urgent reforms at the United Nations must be made to set aside two slots for Africa at the Security Council.
Uhuru further noted that the continent deserves more non-permanent seats at the UN Security Council from the current three.
“Kenya joins in the demand for two permanent seats for Africa, with all the rights and prerogatives of current members, including the right of veto, and additional non permanent seats,” said President Kenyatta adding that the two slots would help amend the historical injustices that the continent has suffered at the UN over the years.
“As we all know, Africa is under represented in the non permanent category of the Security Council and not represented at all in the permanent category,” President Kenyatta observed.
“This historical injustice is a clear indication of the skewed system that has perpetuated an exclusive model of governance that fuels the trust gap between nations, ” the President added.
In his 20-minute speech, Kenyatta also pointed out that without reforms to the membership of the UN Security Council, real change cannot be realized at the global body.

Speak for yourself. But Uhuru should tell me how Kenya will benefit from two slots. He should also explain how his visits benefit Kenyans other than losing hundreds of millions per trip for nothing. Why don't you just pay kina waKagwamja & Co.companions shs 100000 each per day at home instead of bringing them to New York to earn it?

Does Jamana know the VAT taxation was passed by the useless parliament in 2013?Does he know that the same parliament was postponing the VAT implementation to 2020 instead of removing it altogether?Does he know that the whole problem has been brought by the poop constitution they passed in 2010?

If it's a Must for Africa to have the 2 Slots (and they don't get them), then just QUIT the UN. But I would recommend Eating the Humble pie. For I don't think the 2 Slots will put Bread on Table for the Poor in Africa (except for the 2 Africans that will Occupy the 2 Slots).
