President Uhuru Nominates Hillary Mutyambai as New Inspector-General of Police, to Replace Joseph Boinnet

President Kenyatta has nominated Hillary Mutyambai as the new Inspector General of Police to replace Joseph Boinnet.

Mutyambai, who is currently the Assistant Director at the Counter Terrorism Center, has been nominated following the expiry of Boinnet's four-year term on Monday.

In an Executive Directive dated March 13th, 2019, President Uhuru has hence appointed Boinnet as the Chief Administrative Secretary (CAS) in the Ministry of Tourism and Wildlife.

President Uhuru nominated Boinnet to the position of I.G on December 31st, 2014 to take over from David Kimaiyo who resigned.

Kenyatta has also appointed Wycliffe Ogalo as the Commissioner-General of the Kenya Prisons Service, Brigadier Vincent Naisho Loonena as the Director-General of the Kenya Coast Guard Service while Brigadier John Migui Waweru has been named the Director-General of the Kenya Wildlife Service.

Eliud Ndung’u Kinuthia has been appointed as the new Chairperson of the National Police Service Commission (NPSC).

Nakuomba tafadhali utumie teknolojia ya kisasa kumaliza ufisadi ambao unajulikana sana kutokana na wafanyi kazi wa polisi. Waambie wananchi wote watumie simu za mkononi kila wakati wanapowasiliana na polisi. Pia, teua mahakma ya pekee ya kupambana na ufisadi wa polisi, Ndugu matiang'i ameshindwa kabisa kumaliza ufisadi wa idara yake.

Tuna hamu sana kuona wananchi wakifanya kazi yao bila kuwaogopa polisi kwa uraibu (addiction) wao wa kupenda kuwanyanyasa wananchi ovyo kwa kuombaomba hongo kila mahali.

Pia, mwombe rais akupe mamlaka ya kuwachagua wakaguzi wa magari barabarani ili kuhakikisha ya kwamba magari yote yana magurudumu (tires) na breki (brakes) nzuri ambazo zinafanya kazi 24/7.

Watu hawa (askari polisi) ndio wakubwa wa ufisadi katika nchi yetu tangu tupate uhuru mwaka wa 1963.

Why why why??????? Can't these people retire and just stay retired? This is why they want to craft a spot for uhuru when his term ends. Why can't he decline? Some of these judgments have no pride. How does one go from inspector general of police to administrator of wildlife? Bure kabisa
