Huduma Namba Listing is Voluntary, State House Says

State House has clarified that the ongoing mass registration for Huduma Namba is a voluntary process.
In a statement on Twitter on Thursday evening, State House Chief of Staff Nzioka Waita says no one will be forced to participate in the registration drive.
Waita has also dismissed Communications Authority of Kenya (CA) claims that Kenyans who fail to register in the National Integrated Identity Management System (NIIMS) will have their mobile phone SIM cards switched off.
Waita says: “There is no directive from the Government to institute any punitive measures against those who don’t register. More emphasis will be laid on civic education!”
Speaking in Kisumu on Thursday, CA Director-General Francis Wangusi warned that SIM cards of Kenyans who would not have been listed after the end of the registration drive will be blocked.
“We are waiting for the 45 days to end. We will say unless you have a Huduma Namba, you don’t have a sim card. So prepare yourself. And when we say it that way, it could be a polite order but it’s an order that is enforceable,” says Wangusi.
“We will ask service providers to shut down SIM cards of those who will not have acquired Huduma Namba."
In a ruling early this month, the High Court barred the government from forcing Kenyans to register for Huduma Namba or denying services to those who would not register.
The government was further barred from sharing information collected during the registration with foreign organizations.
''Some people may read malice but the State is serious in coming up measures aimed at ensuring cybersecurity, and also protecting people's data and privacy."
“Do you know how many IDs of dead people are being used today to register SIM cards?” poses Wangusi.

If I register for this Huduma Number, the government can use my Huduma number to access my electricity bill, my phone bill, my internet bill , my bank accounts, my title deed, my marriage certificate, school certificates, medical information, title deeds, my children's information, my parents information, my passport, National ID and basically all my information.
My question is:
1. If a thief get my Huduma Number, where does that leave me.I don't mean Cyber-security.
2. Because Huduma number is all my information in one database, does this mean the government can delete all my information in a click of a button?
3. In case of government critics, won't this Huduma Namba be used to delete their information and basically delete evidence of their existence?
4. Why is the Kenya government violating the privacy of Kenyans?

Good! Nobody should volunteer for this number while corruption is at its peak.
Our forefathers lived complete lives without providing such information.
One power is at the end of the rope while another one is at the beginning. Let us all (Kenyan's and Africans) not be mixed up with powers that are diminishing by giving our most God given rights to our private information. This information may be used as a weapon to destroy us by our enemies. (Those who maimed, raped, sodomized, hanged and killed our forefathers- they may still be wishing they could destroy us)

Yes,the gv't will be able to control you & also stop you from getting necessary services if you fail to give in to their demands! They also register as many young people so that when they mature, they will still maintain those numbers they were given & therefore there'll be no objections registering their siblings! Satan, We belong to Christ & we're not state property!! The devil is a liar!!
