Cruel Kenyan Maid Caught on Camera Beating Up Her Employer's 3-Month-Old Daughter
A 31-year-old house help was arrested this week after she was captured on camera beating up her employer's three-month-old daughter.
The girl's mother was shocked after watching the maid identified as Irene Nzisa punish the infant.
The mother had left the house to take her ailing first-born daughter, 3, to the hospital. On their way, she decided to check the live feed from a nanny camera installed in their living room.
She was shocked to watch the caregiver mercilessly beat up her daughter on her hands and thighs.
“I was in shock, we could not proceed to the hospital after I saw that video. I just went straight home and on my way, I contacted my husband who came with the police,” the mother of two from Mlolongo told Nairobi News.
Nzisa had been employed to look after the two girls six weeks ago.
She was arrested and locked up at Mlolongo police station for a night before she was released the following day after her brother pleaded with her employer not to press charges against her.
“Her brother talked me out of pressing charges against his sister so I just withdrew the charges and she was released the following day."
“I am however scared she may end up in someone’s house and hurt other children that is why I’m spreading the information,” the mother of two added.

Kwa upande wa kulea mtoto, Waarabu ni mabingwa. Mwanamke wa Kiarabu hawezi kumwachia mtu yeyote kumlea mtoto wake mchanga ila yeye au mama yake.

All Maids should be Tested of HIV/AIDS before Employment. No being hired if they turn out Positive. Why?
Because some of them are CRAZY enough to even Infect your Kids with the Disease; especially if they Do Not stick to their Midication doses. And its because some HIV/AIDS victims' brains get eaten out by the Disease if they Do Not take their Medication.

@ Onyo,we do not have to go to extremes just because of one bad maid.They are human beings and their rights must be preserved.Even in healthcare services not all are tested.
An evil or bad employee knows no boundaries ...
Like someone said here treat you maids with respect and pay them well.you pfrustrate them you never know how they will respond...

Many many Kenyans employ maids just because they can. They have delegated anything household, including parenting, to house helps. Of course, they want to pay very little for the services of a house help. Cheap, whether in monetary or time measurement, is always very very expensive. Visit most "family friendly" entertainment joints on any one weekend in Kenya and you'll see parents boozing themselves silly while the kids are free ranging aimlessly on a sugar high of soda and junk food.

Jambo kubwa ambalo nimejifunza hapa Marekani ni kuwa si lazima uajiriwe (be employed) katika maisha yako. Unaweza kuajiri wewe mwenyewe na kuajiri watu wengine na kuwalipa mshahara ulio na heshima.
Kazi nyingi sana zimeanzisha na mtu binafsi halafu zikawasaidia watu wengi kuwa na maisha yao.
Jambo lililo muhimu ni serikali iweke msingi wa mshahara ambao unawezesha kila mtu aliyeajiriwa kuishi maisha bora kama binadamu wengine.
Teknolojia inaweza kusaidia kurahisisha maisha ya watu na kutoa nafasi za wananchi wa kawaida kusaidia kujenga taifa kwa kufanya kazi nyingine nchini. Kwa mfano, mimi hujifanyia kila kitu nyumbani kwa uwezo wa teknolojia ya kisasa.
Si lazima nimwajiri mtu anipikie chakula, anifulie nguo na kupiga pasi, apige deki (general house cleaning), anisafishie motokaa, au anitandikie kitanda. Mimi mwenyewe hujifanyia vitu hivi vyote bila kumwajiri binadamu yeyote.
Mambo ya kumwajiri mtu akufanyie vitu nilivyoorodhesha hapo awali ni "utumwa wa kisasa" kwa wengi wasio na njia ya kuishi. Kwa nini mtu akutandikie kitanda, akupikie chakula, akupigie nyumba deki na huku wewe una mikono miwili na pia wewe si mgonjwa?
