I Don’t Care Who will be Arrested over Corruption, Uhuru Says

President Kenyatta has insisted that no one will be spared in the ongoing fight against corruption.

Speaking at the burial of Kenyan singer John De’Mathew in Murang’a County on Saturday, Kenyatta vowed to ensure that all looted public funds are recovered.

Kenyatta said the war on graft has been made easier by the fact that he will not be seeking reelection, stating that his loyalty is to the people of Kenya and does not care who will be arrested in the process.

“We shall keep that vow because I personally have no friends other than the people of Kenya,” said Kenyatta.

“The culture of unbridled corruption will end; I will continue pursuing the corrupt. I have been telling them that I am not seeking votes anymore; they have to return public money. I don’t have a friend when it comes to fighting corruption. My friends are the people of Kenya,” he added.

Kenyatta further warned political leaders against making inflammatory remarks that may create animosity among Kenyans.

“I seek to urge leaders to be very careful when making some remarks as they can cause trouble in our country and return to haunt them in future,” remarked Uhuru.

Empty rhetoric. The fact that you are even talking about it shows you care for your corrupt friends. In addition your policies are killing local businesses and youth unemployment is at an all time high.

So much public corruption. More action less talk. Ninety nine percent of government officials are as corrupt as hell. Go after them and show us how much of public funds has been recovered. Action.

Empty threats Mr President., we need to see folks in jail. No one has yet faced any jail term. Mwilu, Kidero, obado, waititu and waiguru just to jog your memory. Catch and release tactics don’t make this war on graft any better in fact it’s makes it look like mockery or Afro cinema where never ends. Aluta continua
