Francis Atwoli Defends Himself After Wrongly Predicting US Presidential Election

Central Organization of Trade Unions (COTU) secretary-general Francis Atwoli has defended himself after his prediction on the 2020 US elections failed.

Appearing on a local TV show in May this year, Atwoli expressed confidence that Donald Trump would be re-elected as US President by thumping his competitor Joe Biden of the Democratic Party.

In the past few days, a section of Kenyans on social media has been trolling Atwoli after Biden trounced Trump having garnered more than 270 electoral college votes needed to win a US presidential election.

In his defense, the vocal trade unionist said Trump was to blame for his own downfall, noting that he (Trump) had all the cards at the time he made the prediction.

The Trump administration’s mishandling of the Covid-19 pandemic and the #BlackLivesMatter movement cost him the election, according to Atwoli.

“I’ve always said a day in politics is very longtime. When I said Trump is going to win he had all the cards with him,” Atwoli said through Twitter on Sunday.

He added: “Then came the Black Lives Matter Movement and the politicization of COVID-19 pandemic. Tables turned on him and these two became his greatest undoing.”

Atwoli has previously claimed to have a distinctive behavior to predict things correctly including the handshake between President Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga in 2018.

I'd say he won as the biggest loser. In fact I'd say no one has ever had so many people reject him in any previous election. I'm sure foreign leaders are calling and saying they've never seen anything like it. I think it's time to turn the J around to an L. What a loser. Here's a link showing where the end of the road for dear Magat leader is.

Question my fellow KENYANS, so does Trump need a BBI ? Or does USA need to implement BBI, as you can see the country is divided and he too got lots of votes and l voted for him by the way. Should we take to the streets or what would you advise a Trump support for real. In other words MY DEAR KENYANS, forget the damn BBI and look for better ways to fix the issues we have instead of coming up with documents after another and none get implemented, Ndungu report, wanjuku report and which other report and l would suggest this report be given other tribe names not kikuyus name anymore. Luo name or Luyha name please or maasai.

So let implement the constitution and kick the BBI to the curb and l APPROVE this message.
