40 Percent of Current MPs Hold Fake Documents, Moses Kuria Says

Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria claims that at least 40 percent of the MPs in the current parliament hold fake academic certificates.

The outspoken MP further alleged that the only genuine document this group of legislators has is a driver’s license.

“For about 40% of the MPs in the 12th parliament, the only genuine document they hold is a driving License,” said Kuria.

The 12th Parliament consists of 349 members of the National Assembly and 67 Senators.

While Kuria’s claim is only a personal opinion, the country’s formal employment sector has been dogged with fake academic certificate holders.

Early this year, the Kenya National Qualifications Authority (KNQA) revealed that a third of Kenyans in the formal sector have fake documents. This represents about one million out of the three million Kenyans working in the formal employment sector.

KNQA Chairperson Dr. Kilemi Mwiria said fake certificate holders have secured formal jobs at the expense of well-educated employment seekers.

“We are working with all stakeholders to eradicate this practice that is denying Kenyans with genuine academic documents, an opportunity to benefit from their hard work in school,” said Dr. Mwiria.

In partnership with the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), KNQA launched a countrywide crackdown on fake academic certificate holders.

The best thing kuria can do is to tell the Kenyan people which politicians are in the 40% list with fake papers! Don’t tell us 40% of you idiots got fake degree papers and you don’t have a list of names attached here; well to include the name of DP Ruto’s fake PhD, and yourself also. Wacha utoto you uncircumcised lad @kuria! You got a damn big mouth fool; you talk to much you stupid!

If Kurua says 40% of MPigs hold fake credentials, and the KNQA says about 1/3 of formal sector acquired jobs with fake certificate, he may not be far off. As far as Iam concerned even 1% is bad enough. Could this be the reason why the country is grinding slowly toward maendeleo?
One thing that is very clear is that when some of these Mpigs, and so called learned leaders, open their mouths you wonder if their cognitive faculty is underdeveloped.

It is corruption in high places and of the highest order! Name every one with fake credentials and fire them all! This is the origin of poor performance in the work places! You should be fired if you lied to get the job. That is the way way we can clean up the system in Kenya!

Until we as Kenyans and Africans turn around and embrace who we are, corruption will always increase in every sector. We will always be slayed on the table by other nations.
We have adopted foreign names, foreign gods, foreign education, foreign language, foreign clothes, fireign food. We are fully alienated and everyone can bring anything even foreign evils to our nation.
Our nation need to take a pause and ask who are we; and where are we going?
Luckily, the end of all these is in sight although it will get worse before it gets better.
The system that have dictated our past is collapsing while the system that will restore our dignity is slowing taking hold.
Soon those degrees will be meaningless!!!

Shouldn't he giving this information to the detectives? Given that he uttered these sentiments outside parliament, , one can only hope a concerned citizen (who can claim loss of opportunity) can summon him to testify!
