27-Year-Old Man Beaten to Death by Bouncers at a Popular Ruaka Nightclub

Police have opened a probe into the brutal murder of a 27-year-old man at Wingu Bistro Club in Ruaka, Kiambu County.
Brian Macharia was allegedly beaten by bouncers at the entertainment joint on Saturday night for breaking a glass.
His lifeless body with fractures around the arms and waist was later discovered near the six-storey building housing the bar. The deceased’s family claims their kin was thrown off by bouncers.
CCTV footage obtained from the club showed Macharia heading to the kitchen area and appears to talk to one of the chefs.
Moments later, a chef is seen heading towards the entrance and returns in the company of a bouncer and points at Macharia, who appears intoxicated.
Macharia is seen trying to plead for mercy but the bouncer pounces on him and drags him out of the bar where he continues to beat him.
He then rips his shirt before pinning him to the floor but Macharia tries to reenter the club and is overpowered by two other bouncers, who attempt to force him into a store.
The bouncer who first assaulted him then enters the store with the deceased and comes out moments later. Macharia’s body was discovered moments after the suspect left the store.
Three key suspects have since been arrested in connection with his death as investigations continue.
