This woman did not destroy his life. She is a victim of one guy with a very sick mind. It is alleged some one ( female CNA) saw him trying to force himself and based on that he was arrested.

Immediately police arrested and started investigations. As of now no conclusions by police, no DNA. People need to understand what is rape - penetration without consent, did it happen or not.

The story that has been around even before the incident is a plot to fix the guy. He is Seniour and very well paid.worked in other state hospitals , worked the same place for more than 5 years.

I am convinced he was fixed, we have not heard any testimonies from the victim other than a CNA claim who says the guy raped a resident. Is a CNA qualified to call it rape ? Infact patients there say he is a great guy and were shocked. Shocking the hospital has no security

The incident was reported late ,3 days after ,infact the hospital has apologized for a late report of the incident. Where is the evidence, let's get the DNA if any.. Then it will be the CNAs report Vs the defence.

Inside story, the CNAs in the hospital hate the dude as a supervisor coz he is tough and sticks to the books and rules. The hospital management I suggest have not had a problem with the guys performance, considering he had worked there for 5 years.

If this guy was really not framed by a co-worker who just didn't like him because of "who he is", then he is a very sick person who should be in a mental hospital. Unfortunately he will go to prison and his life is changed forever.

I know him. He did it. It was not just witnessed by one but multiple. He begged her not to report and said that he had a problem and needed help. The CNA chose to do the right thing and reported it. Additionally, it was reported the SAME DAY not 3 days later

I Will have to I agree with those who say that this guy is "sick";that's is if he truly raped a 72 year old.This is not sexual drive in action.Most men will agree with me that a 72year old woman with dementia would not arouse sexual interest unless your mind is screwed up.

Most 72 yr old dementia patients in nursing homes (not all) are wearing diapers....jijazieni. I can promise you no nurse, female or male would think of doing such an act. This guy may have been having an affair with a certain nurse, and decided to leave her for another nurse. The left nurse was bitter and framed him......that is the story.

If one reports rape then they have the burden of proof to prove it beyond doubt. The investigations have to be done and properly align the charges to the evidence other wise no trial.

Well, if he did that then he belongs to jail. At the moment we should give him the benefit of the doubt until the allegation are substantiated. If proven guilty he would not be the first Kenyan to commit such horrible crime in such manner. Initially it may seem to be a report to your manager, but one has to prove it in court before a judge and jury , go through investigations etc. It is not easy being a witness and a victim too.

The investigations should take their course. The affected instituting should enhance security to protect inpatients at all times.

Hating, hitting, judging someone based on media reports is no necessary at all.

I am a nurse based in New York, this is impossible.very hard to happen, nurses don't work alone. They work hand in hand with CNAs. Rooms usually have 2-4 resident most.

Based on the rules a CNA is in most/all cases in direct contact with the patient ,no nurse will touch a patient without a CNA being patient.

All patient rooms remain open. If no one is attending the resident.

If the dude stack to the rules, then this is going no where.

If the dude was attending to patient without CNA being present, this needs to investigated. Was it a staffing issue?

The other question is when you get someone in the act of rape, what measure do you take? How do you react? Now that's where the cracks of the matter is.

Does the hospital have a security protocol when such happens? Was it followed. Most clinics in NY has security attendance, for intrusion and monitoring. Does the institution have any security mechanisms to protect residents?

A bell on the bed is a basic requirement , a guard to monitor movement of people, police hotline, etc and protocol to respond to differ hazards.

So many questions to raise here and am sure the prosecution has to be ready for all this.

The suspect is innocent until a jury makes the call.
