The opposition National Super Alliance (NASA) has unveiled four campaign teams as they look to sell their presidential candidate ahead of the August 8 general elections.
The four teams have been divided among some of the NASA influential principals as the stewards.
The first team will be under the leadership of the NASA presidential flag bearer Raila Odinga and will consist of Bungoma senator Moses Wetangula (Ford Kenya), Issa Timamy (Lamu Governor), David Nkedianye (Kajiado County) and Joseph Tiampati (Narok County governor aspirant on ODM ticket).
NASA presidential running mate Kalonzo Musyoka (Wiper Party leader) will be in charge of the second team and will be operate together with Wickliffe Oparanya (Kakamega Governor), Amason Kingi (Kilifi Governor), Millie Odhiambo (Mbita MP) and Former Deputy Speaker Farah Maalim, who is also the Wiper party Deputy leader..
Amani National Coalition leader and NASA campaign supremo Musalia Mudavadi will lead the third team encompassing Hassan Joho (Mombasa Governor), Josephat Nanok (Turkana Governor), Isaac Ruto (Bomet Governor) and Aisha Jumwa (Kilifi woman representative).
The fourth team will have Junet Mohamed and Mombasa Women Representative Mishi Mboko as the leaders and will comprise several Members of Parliament allied to the opposition coalition.
The coalition has set ten million votes as it target in the upcoming elections in order to dislodge President Uhuru Kenyatta from power.
