National super alliance (NASA) presidential candidate Raila Odinga says that the Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) that Jubilee claims to be their poster project was a brainchild of former President Mwai Kibaki.
The former primer Minister accused president Uhuru Kenyatta and the Jubilee administration of riding on the grand coalition government projects, adding that they (Jubilee) have accomplished nothing new since taking power in 2013.
He accused President Uhuru Kenyatta’s administration of failing to provide practical solutions to a myriad of problems that are facing Kenyans today.
"Jubilee has done nothing. They are just taking credit for the projects done by the Grand Coalition government," Raila said.
The Orange Democratic Leader further accused the head of state of perfecting the art of political treachery and using life-changing projects initiated by the Grand Coalition government in which he served as Prime Minister to take credit.
He cited the newly-built SGR project from Mombasa to Nairobi as the brainchild of retired President Mwai Kibaki’s regime, asking Jubilee to stop using the project as their accomplishment.
Odinga was speaking when he met a delegation of Pokot County professionals at Orange House, where he also accused Jubilee of sidelining certain communities in the country.
He welcomed Pokot Women Representative Regina Nyeris and Sigor MP Phillip Rotino, who joined ODM from Jubilee after losing in the Jubilee primaries.
"I have the solution to the problems facing this country. Jubilee has perfected nepotism, not just tribalism," the opposition chief said. "It is unfortunate that decades after Independence, Pokots are ravaged by hunger and banditry," he added.

What kind of thinking is this? Isn't one who implements a life changing venture as equally if not more important than the one who crafts it on paper? Raila would rather the SGR and other projects remained on paper simply because they were first thought of in the so called "coalition government"? Doesn't Jubilee at least deserve some credit for following through with some good development policies from the previous regime? Ridiculous!
This self proclaimed Messiah or Joshua or my uncle Ojinga does not need to lecture Uhuruto on tribalism and nepotism.
He has no moral let alone political authority to accuse anyone for lack of initiating development projects that impacts the people directly or indirectly.
When he was Langata MP for twenty years and five of those as Prime Minister, he failed to initiate any development projects that could alleviate or improve the livehoods of his constituents - Instead he slumbered and when he woke up, he stole the Kazi Kwa Vijana ( KKV ) funds and fronted one Caroli Omondi and he purchased the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Nairobi.
My Uncle is a prophet of doom and poverty. He cannot help himself let alone saving Kenya.
Omolo or Amolo; You have not stolen - show the people what you have done. Jelousy?
I am sure Kibaki does not mind. In any case, he knew he was not going to be president for 30 years and someone else had to carry his vision to completion. It is unfortunate that the oldest politician who hopes to be a 'Joshua' does not even know what it means to deliver the promised land. Raila has wasted so much time for Kenya and hindered the growth of a real opposition to keep government in check. My hope is that he is defeated resoundingly this time round.
Hapo umeongea kama customer wawili wa cash
RAO is disappointed that the project did not fail.... kasia!
As Mutahi said ... raira is an old jobless man with nothing to loose - he will therefore keep peeing all over anybody or any project that stands in his way to statehouse .... may kenyans hand him the ultimate defeat on Aug 8 before he takes a dump on the entire country ...
So, he wanted Uhuruto to neglect the projects or what?
This guy knows how to play games. HE HAS NO SOLUTION FOR ANYTHING yet he is the first to criticize others ideas and solutions. I just hope Uhuru has a better plan this time to shut him up for good. Kenyans should look back five years ago and see how much has been done.
